Gyms. Job sites. Golf courses. Classrooms. Cafes. Ballrooms.

All over the country, communities are finding their own ways to stand up against violence against women and children. Ice baths and honest conversations. Toolbox talks that go deeper. Trivia nights, sausage sizzles and painted nails in places you wouldn’t expect.

Different crowds, same message: preventing violence is everyone’s business.

Swipe through to see how they did it.

The best measure of Polished Spaces? What the pilot partners in it are saying.

Gyms @bft_hawthorn and @vrtusbondi are proving the model first, and everything they learn is shaping how we bring this to workplaces, pubs and clubs next.

At the end of the day, we all want to feel safe, loved and cared for.

There's freedom in letting go of who you think you're supposed to be. When you can just be yourself, you show up better for the people around you, too.

Together, we can build a future where strength is vulnerability. A future free from violence.

@rawsonkirkhope has spent years speaking openly about his family's experience of violence. Looking at who responds to his posts, he's noticed something: around 95% are women.

That silence matters. It isn't about blaming men. It's about men recognising they have a part to play in changing the culture that lets violence, intimidation and control continue.

Living true to yourself means showing up for the people in your life. Sometimes that means speaking up when it's uncomfortable.

Your summer just got better…that’s right I’m headed home for a few months in October to enjoy sun, sand, surf, and the high cost of living in Sydney. But rest assured, I’ll be working also! So open to any projects, ideas, chats and just creating.
