A party up in the galaxy 🌌. @thepagecosoiree knocked it out of this world (see what I did there?) last night at the @dreamwalkpark. We have walked by that place countless times wondering what it was like in there. SO much detail, so much ambiance and an absolute feast for the eyes. Each room had a different feel and interactive activities.

What I love about this amazing party is the connection I feel to so many wonderful people that I love and the brands that put their heart and soul into their products. It was a night full of energy, and one not soon forgotten. ✨🌕🌙✨

In 2012, I went to my 1st-ever content creator get-together.

14 years later, I still feel the same way about these kinds of gatherings…

There’s something really special about being in a room with people who “get” the weird little world you work in.

Sharing your life & work online is such a unique thing. It can be incredibly connecting, I’ve met some really great people because of it, but it can also feel surprisingly lonely sometimes.

Most days, it’s just me, my phone, my ideas & all of YOU on the other side of the screen.

I love that the internet gives us a place to come together. I’ve even created an online program where I get to have deeper conversations (on Zoom!) with moms from all over the world.

& at the same time, I’m always grateful for opportunities to take some of that connection OFF the screen & into real life.

This year was extra fun at @thepagecosoiree because I got to attend with my real-life friend @amberonpoints

Amber & I met in Texas back in 2017, long before she became a content creator & business owner herself, she has always been such a supportive friend.

As she’s built her own business online recently, we’ve had SO many conversations about content, business, ideas, what’s working, what’s hard & all the strange parts of putting yourself out there.

So when we had the chance to meet up in Utah & attend this soirée together, I wanted her by my side.

This was my 5th year attending, & one of my favorite parts is meeting people, hearing what they’re creating & learning what they care about enough to share online.

Because as much as I love creating things for this community, I don’t want this space to only be about what I know.

There are so many people with stories, experiences, expertise & perspectives worth sharing, and I left with a full heart, new ideas & a long list of people I’d love to collaborate with & learn from.

& special thanks to my college girl @alyssajoyduke & her roommate @emma.teeples for letting Amber & I take over their apartment while they helped us get ready.

What a glorious night.
With the death of my Dad, I wasn't sure I would be in the networking party mode.
But it was the exact opposite action I needed.

Genuine conversations - with people I admire and love.
Good food. Great vibes.
And out of this world energy‼️

Trying to put words, in a post, about what speaking on the topic of 'HEALING IN FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS' is like is like trying to gather up all the glitter thrown in the air.

The praying. The fasting. The tears. The wrestle. The vulnerability. The edits. The miracle. It was all of that and more.

I heard stories, from those in the room, that God showed me before I had met them.

I loved presenting such a sensitive topic with the brilliant @brogoodman

Having kept #projectlife albums going since 2014, i just completed my tenth and final book in the format.
My daughter has a full record of the first decade of her life, with a little extra on either side. The documenting continues; I’m switching over to smaller, more manageable, less-resource-heavy junk journaling, and the next stop for these bad boys will be digitizing them all. Thanks for a fun ride, @beckyhigginsllc!

We interrupt this flow of memory keeping inspiration to bring you a glimpse of Lisa Bearnson, @heidiswapp, and Yours Truly who didn’t get together to scrapbook yesterday … but we DID get together to play pickleball!! (More journaling on @realbeckyhiggins)

Can’t even tell you how good this was for my soul. The sunshine & the pickleball, yes. Of course. But just being WITH these women fuels my happiness & wellbeing.

We go back SO far. How many of you go back WITH us?? Like … 30 years when Lisa launched Creating Keepsakes magazine!?

I am SO LATE to the party with this, but way back in January when I took a roadtrip to Utah I got to dine with these amazing, influential women. I consider myself beyond lucky to have rubbed shoulders with them over the years in our various roles working in memory keeping (thank you Lisa!)

Extra awesome was a couple of years ago, when we made the effort to do a little slumber party--and, after staying up until the wee hours, got up to do a FUN "reunion" segment on Studio5. Anyhoo, we enjoyed that so much that we decided to make it happen again whenever it might work out--hence our January dinner date. But ... since then 😊 we have done a better job of staying in touch in little ways and I can't even say how much I have LOVED this renewed and now deepened connection. I know many of you have been taught and influenced by Lisa, Becky and Heidi, but I'm telling you it's ME who is their biggest super-fan. I have learned that these women are even stronger, kinder and funnier than I thought I knew. They are good to the core and dedicated to God, family and making a difference. What a JOY to know and continue to learn from them!! 🧡🥰#womensday #friendship
