Regen Ag School 2026-060 | Plant Health Pyramid — From Cabbage Worms to Level 4 - In 4k on my You-Tube channel - link in bio Regen Ag School Feed the plant. The pest list shrinks. Not overnight. A staircase. Level 1 — complete photosynthesis. Enough energy to grow. Leaf is still a salad bar. Cabbage worms, aphids, flea beetles treat it as food. Level 2 — complete protein synthesis. Nitrogen plus Mo, S, Co, Fe. Simple sugars become complete proteins. Aphids start to drop. Level 3 / 4 — surplus energy. Lipids build the waxy cuticle. Secondary metabolites (phenols, terpenoids, alkaloids) make the leaf bitter to a chewing larva. Butterflies still lay. The first bite is the test. We are in the climb. Leaf Brix 8–10. Engine is on. Defense chemistry is not finished. Worms are smaller and fewer. They are not gone. BT is the bridge, not the religion. Bacillus thuringiensis. Evening pass. UV kills it in the sun. Caterpillar gut only. Bees, people, and the rest of the canopy stay out of it. Temporary. Targeted. Biological. While the soil work runs: marine shale + biochar, cover crops, biology in the drench. North-end Romas with extra foliar passes already show the other side of the staircase. Nutrition first. Tools while you climb. Not a philosophy. A practice. Harvest isn’t the end of the season. It’s a chance to start thinking about the next one. 🌱 Regenerating soil doesn’t mean changing everything overnight or following a one-size-fits-all recipe. It’s about understanding where your soil is today, identifying the biggest opportunities, and making small, intentional improvements over time. Start where you are. Learn. Test. Adjust. Repeat. #regenerativefarming #soilhealth #agronomy #agriculture #covercrops

Regen Ag School 2026-058 | The Soil Writes the Food — Why This Produce Is Different - Regen Ag School 2026-058 Why this produce is different. A tomato is a record of the soil it grew in. Minerals, biology, sunlight — flavor, texture, shelf life, density. Grocery Brix on a field tomato can sit around 4. Ordinary organic often around 6. These fruit, on a full biological program, run into double digits. That is not just sugar. Esters, volatiles, mineral finish. Calcium in the walls. Boron moving sugar into the fruit. Potassium driving ripen. Ocean traces for the oils that make an heirloom worth remembering. A chef does not need a refractometer. They taste it on the first bite. Thick walls. Less collapse in the walk-in. Cabbage that holds in a ferment. Tomato that slices instead of flooding the board. USDA numbers: broccoli with less calcium, iron, magnesium than 1975. NPK filled the bag. The rest of the table was stripped. Basalt, marine minerals, biology, RO water in the tank. Zinc, copper, manganese, boron, cobalt, molybdenum you can measure. Plant Health Pyramid, level four. Waxy cuticle. Pests do not treat it as food. No synthetic fungicide, insecticide, or herbicide on this fruit. Clover and wildflower for the hives. Cover crops through winter. Turkeys on weed seed. Bumblebees on the tomato flower. Same seed. Different script. The soil writes the food. 0:00 Why this produce is different 0:35 Brix and flavor 1:20 What the plant was fed 2:00 First bite 2:25 Produce that lasts 3:20 The mineral decline 4:10 Remineralize and biology 5:00 Plant Health Pyramid 5:50 The rest of the farm 6:25 Taste the difference IN 4K ON YOU-TUBE (LINK IN BIO) The Farmacy Seeds Network #RegenAgSchool #NutrientDensity #TheFarmacySeedsNetwork

"Challenging times lead to more resourcefulness." @realJohnKempf talks to one of the most resourceful growers we know: Mike Omeg of @OrchardViewCher. On the #RegenerativeAgriculturePodcast. 🍒 We've been posting photos and videos all summer of the insane crop of cherries Orchard View produced this year. 🍒 Mike explains how they grew a record crop while slashing input costs to respond to a down market for cherries. ✅ Cutting nitrogen from 300 total tons applied bulk to just 57 tons applied through fertigation, while also applying only 60% of the foliar urea ✅ Maintaining a strict $20/acre budget for foliars while using AEA's precision blends ✅ A block that produced 13 tons of cherries per acre in its sixth leaf, with firmness in the mid-300s and brix of 20-26 ✅ Producing "once-in-a-lifetime" crops in back-to-back years ✅ Why Mike believes those trees can sustain that level of production for decades It all adds up to the holy grail of regenerative ag: "We're starting to see biological precision and cost control reinforcing each other with really good crop outcomes." 🎧 Comment LISTEN for link

Regen Ag School 2026-055 | Soil Hydrology: Rain as a Lung On my Youtube channel in 4k (link in bio) Regen Ag School 2026-055 Saturday, August 22, 2026. Rain is not just water. On this clay it is a piston — CO2 out of the macropores, oxygen back in. That lung cycle is what lets roots make ATP and pull nutrients. Gypsum side-dress is how we keep the pores open so the next storm works. Also in this cut: foliar after the midweek feeds, first tomato of the season, old blossom-end rot vs new fruit with intact calcium walls, garlic-bed gypsum and soft rock phosphate, cabbage catch-up drench on the tail of a half-inch rain, seedling CPI from the grow lab, and why the spray tank starts with RO water. 0:00 Garlic beds on purple-top turnip 25 lb gypsum + 28 lb soft rock phosphate, evening drench into rain 0:46 Tomatoes and peppers after foliar Fruit load, second clip-up, cold nights 1:28 Old BER vs new fruit 2:25 First taste — Oxheart-type, Seeds of Italy steak, Amish paste 3:47 Cabbage: weed-eat and drench 4:29 Drench behind a half-inch rain 4:54 Soil hydrology and the lung Wetting front as a piston, gypsum flushing Mg, calcium aggregating the clay Grow-lab critical point of influence RO water in the foliar tank The Farmacy Seeds Network #RegenAgSchool #SoilHydrology #Tomatoes

Nitrate: 5000ppm -> 1600 ppm. Better soy nodule formation and reproductive growth. That's how Brody Benton clears "nitrogen constipation" with precision micronutrient applications. Brody is an agronomist and no-till farmer who works with growers in Iowa and the midwest as an independent consultant through his company, Six B. He uses sap analysis and field trials to help growers reduce synthetic chemical dependency. On the #RegenerativeAgriculturePodcast, @realJohnKempf and Brody discuss: ➡️ How we've gone from naturally maturing green corn to crops dependent on continuous synthetic inputs ➡️ How late-season cover crops feed soil biology to boost cash crop yields ➡️ The severe impact of chemical herbicides on soil fungi ➡️ How AEA nutrients clear nitrogen backlogs and reactivate photosynthesis ➡️ Using Pinion™ to suppresses tar spot ➡️ How trace mineral nutrition prevents phantom yield loss. 🎧 Listen: [link in bio]

Regen Ag School 2026-052 | Fall Clover Management for Bee Fat Bodies & Immunity - IN 4K ON MY YOU-TUBE CHANNEL (LINK IN BIO) Regen Ag School 2026-052 | Fall Clover Management for Bee Fat Bodies & Immunity In this episode we continue preparing the apiary for winter while focusing on one of the most important late-season strategies for honeybee health. We cover: Transferring the aggressive swarm capture colony into a full 10-frame hive Assessing brood, queen quality, and colony progress Mowing the clover block in stages to create a staggered fall nectar and pollen flow Why precise timing of the second mow is critical for late-season forage Targeted foliar nutrition (boron, molybdenum, cobalt, phosphorus & potassium) to drive high-protein, lipid-rich pollen and high-brix nectar How this high-quality forage helps bees synthesize vitellogenin for strong fat bodies, longer-lived winter bees, and better immunity against pests and disease This is the soil-plant-bee continuum in action. Managing the clover correctly now directly supports the winter survival and spring strength of the colonies.Learn Regenerative Agriculture at The Farmacy Seeds Network with Advancing Eco Agriculture Products and Fieldlark AI Agronomic guidance.#RegenerativeAgriculture #Beekeeping #Honeybees #Clover #FatBodies #WinterBees #Vitellogenin #FoliarFeed #SoilHealth #RegenAg #TheFarmacySeedsNetwork #FieldlarkAI #AdvancingEcoAgriculture #PollinatorHealth
