POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
The first 1/2 of 2026 has brought us a lot of change (new location, new roles, and new responsibilities). While it’s mostly been positive, it’s also meant that the time we spend together has drastically decreased. And spending time together was the whole reason we started the business!

So when we were invited to the @wearfigs retreat in Ojai, CA we jumped at the chance to spend 4 whole days together! It felt like exactly what we needed… time with our best friend with minimal distractions or business decisions!!!

What we didn’t expect was how much we’d be changed by that time. It gave us the space to reconnect with each other, but also reminded us how important it is to surround yourself with people who just get it.

Aside from some exciting personal and business inspiration (and a LOT of amazing new clothes); more importantly, we left with so many new friendships and a stronger sense of community.

To everyone who shared their stories, supported us, made us laugh, challenged our thinking, and reminded us why connection matters so much, thank you. We came home feeling lighter (despite all the crying 😂), more inspired, and more connected, not just to each other, but to an incredible group of people we’re so grateful to now know. Sometimes stepping away from the business is actually one of the best things you can do for it & we are so excited to see what the future holds for us now.

My heart is so full after attending last week’s ambassador retreat hosted by @wearfigs!

FIGS brought together such an incredible group of healthcare professionals ranging from veterinarians and physicians to dentists and so many others.

While we definitely enjoyed relaxing with pickleball, yoga, and walking through the beautiful Ojai scenery, the most meaningful moments came from connecting with other creators, sharing our stories, and supporting one another.

It was so wonderful fostering old friendships and making so many new ones. So grateful to be part of a company that invests in the people behind the scrubs. 🩺

I love y’all so much. I am so grateful to call all of you my friends. There is nothing quite like the FIGS Family. It’s so special. I cannot wait to see everyone again and get all the hugs. Thank you @wearfigs for creating a safe space for me and for accepting me for who I am💕

This past week at the @wearfigs retreat reminded me that community matters, but so does coming back to yourself.

One of the best parts was reconnecting with friends I’ve met through past FIGS events and meeting even more people who understand what it means to care deeply about the work we all do in healthcare. There was endless laughter, honest conversations, and the kind of support that makes you feel a little less alone.

But the most important reconnection was with myself.

Somewhere along the way, I started measuring my worth by everything I wasn’t doing. The patients I couldn’t save, the causes I couldn’t fix, the opportunities I couldn’t say yes to. I convinced myself that doing meaningful work wasn’t enough because there was always more that could be done.

This retreat helped me reframe that.

The goal isn’t to do everything. It’s to recognize the value in showing up, doing good work, and allowing that to be enough. To celebrate what this profession gives us instead of only carrying the weight of what it asks from us.

I’m incredibly grateful to the FIGS community, to @trina.spear , @heatherhasson , @anum.hash , and the entire FIGS team for creating spaces that are equal parts inspiring, restorative, and ridiculously fun.

I came home with new memories, stronger friendships, and a much-needed reminder that caring for ourselves is part of caring for everyone else 🥹💕

Sometimes we don’t realize how badly we need to stop, pause and reflect, until we actually do it.

This week at the @wearfigs ambassador retreat, a room full of people in healthcare — the ones who hold space for everyone else — finally got to put it down. We connected. We got honest. We shared the grief and the hard stuff we usually keep tucked deep down, hidden behind our scrubs.

Turns out purpose isn’t something you grind your way into. Sometimes it finds you in the pause. It was a great reminder for me personally to turn off autopilot and check whether my values are in alignment with my actions. It’s important to make time to check in with yourself.

Grateful for these people and this reminder: you can’t pour from a cracked cup you keep pretending is full. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go take my own advice.
