What a season. Finally was able to wrap up the bigwheel championship 1 round early last weekend and I am so happy that it’s finally here. I could not have done it without @kford360 and @karens2711 help. Anyways I was coming into this weekend with a screwed up shoulder and collarbone so we were just shooting for a lap but I was able to hold onto 1st for 3 laps then I went down and hit my shoulder so I had to chill out. 2nd place finish on the day.

As always a huge thanks to our sponsors

One day, we will look back on this and this will all be a blur of memories, full of happiness, fun, and love. But today, it’s everything. 100% grit. 100% effort. 100% heart. 100% soul. We’re not promised tomorrow. Invest in what matters today and give it 100%

I’ve put together a fueling plan to break down what motocross athletes should be prioritizing.

You would be incredibly surprised at how many parents I communicate with that think “no sugar, high protein”

In fueling for sport, the goal is to convert what we take in from food to usable energy as quickly as possible, replenish electrolytes lost in sweat, maintain a high level of cognitive function, and THEN recover after these long days are over.

The goal here is to understand what your body needs, why it needs it, and how to fuel with purpose.

Automatically pulling the clutch before or as you open the throttle in every situation interrupts drive, creates unnecessary friction and high rpms without purpose, and disrupts the bike’s balance and lean angle.

Let’s learn to separate the two first, to maximize our feel of the rear tire, and establish consistent lean angle. Eventually they will blend together nicely, and your brain will automatically know “when” and “how much” as you accelerate in every scenario.

The distinction is sequence and purpose: the throttle establishes power and plants the bike; the clutch adjusts its delivery, and regulates when needed. They can overlap— I’m just teaching riders to not shoot from the hip, and stop treating them as one automatic movement until they’re truly ready.

Only two Tuesday night clinics left! @508intl

“What’re you doing guy? let me go!”

-Creating explosive power

-increasing your repeated max effort fitness

- challenging your ability to operate at a high level under fatigue

-giving you the opportunity to maintain composure, and execute your process

Most importantly, starting you far enough away to require excellence and execution, but close enough for you to believe 🫡
