✨ My 2024 wrapped ✨

While 2024 brought its share of challenges, I'm choosing to celebrate the beautiful moments that shaped this year . . .

🌻 Surprising my Ba and Bapuji in India, and spending time in their village
🌻 Completing the Associate Artists Programme with @devonshirecollective
🌻 Finding inspiration in the sun-drenched corners of South France and Greece
🌻 Leading a sold-out Concertina Workshop at @dclearn
🌻 Exhibiting alongside the incredible @riotsoup and their community at @theotherartfair
🌻 Co-created some incredible work with @usva.inei for our joint exhibition - this is just the beginning!
🌻 Moving into a new studio and sharing with the talented @eleanorgracegreen & Monty
🌻 Big milestone: taking the leap to prioritize my art, leaving my 9-5 behind
🌻 Helping work on some amazing projects with @greatwestgallery
🌻 Launching my shop featuring the Mandir series on Khadi paper - open edition prints now available!

If you've read this far, thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Your support means the world, and I'm buzzing with excitement for what 2025 has in store! 🙏🏽

We facilitated a roundtable discussion and kitschy bead workshop at @somersethouse for Upgrade Yourself Festival the other week. Thank you to everyone who got involved with our activations and were so open during discussion; we had a lot of fun and hope you did too!

If you’d like to hire us for workshops, talks or any other creative events please get in touch!

"Pole-Dancing Blaze" from the Things I wish I could say I like Series is going to be exhibited from October 10th till October 13th at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane in collaboration with @riotsoup at @theotherartfair ❤️

Thank you so much @riotsoup for supporting and empowering POC Queer women and non binary people ❤️

Looking forward to showing you this painting I made in 2022 (a while ago!) back when my studio was in Euston Street.

Our own @dee_expo will be exhibiting at the @trumanbrewery, a showcase by @riotsoup and @theotherartfair.

On display is a series titled ‘A Collaged Analysis of Spike Lee’s Crooklyn, A historical marker and formative film that illustrates a Black family’

The two selected pieces are
1. p r i d e / identity
2. s e c u r i t y / family

@dee_expo was inspired by the film and an older cousin - the real catalyst because they watched the film together on multiple occasions as children. This series serves as a love letter or thank you to her and their shared experience. For Destiny, there has been a moment of analysis regarding this influential movie. Woven together are their own experiences and imagery that showcases a transcendence of time.
