Almost a month has passed since one of the best weekends of my life at #vanswarpedtour LB! Before I left I thought the best part of the experience would be catching the lineup of artists that as an Australian girl- I could have only ever dreamed of catching in one whole weekend, or the chance to interview some of my all time favourite bands. But no - the best part of it was meeting and working with this amazing bunch of humans, all of them throwing so much dedication and love into nurturing and supporting the #altmusic #altmusicjournalism scene, and being so incredibly supportive of me as I took on my first major festival assignment. Gratitude doesn’t cut it- so excited for our next round of fun together! . . (Alt music, emo music, punk rock, hardcore, warped tour, vans warped tour, music festival, music journalism, live music, music reporter, music news).

I’m gonna say it! Thanks again, truly a pleasure to put on this event. Kalamazoo is a wonderful place to perform and I’m so glad you could come see these amazing bands perform at Old Dog Tavern!

The midwest emo community is the best scene out there. See you at the next one! Band highlights later this week 😎

Shout again to this sick lineup

Thank you to everyone who participated in DLF 2026! We had just as much fun hosting as you did moshing, taking pictures, and screaming the words to ‘Cavity’

Seriously, this festival is nothing without you and we are so grateful to have provided you this environment. AND WE’LL DO IT AGAIN

Everyone sounded SO GOOD!

The fucking raddest time at dead letter last night. Got my poster signed by most on the bands, my boyfriend got the setlist from thoughts on bowling and we got outstrips from them. Thank you @kmc4arl.n @babette_ate.oatmeal @buffcows73 for making it the best night ever.
