Right now, our family in Panama is hurting. A massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake and over 100 continuous aftershocks have deeply impacted communities across the country, damaging homes, roads, and basic infrastructure.

This 6-minute video breaks down exactly what is happening on the ground right now, using real footage and photos from the hardest-hit areas. Beyond just spreading awareness, we are stepping up to bring direct relief to families who need it most.

We have a close family friend and her partner physically on the ground in Panama right now doing the work. They are working tirelessly to build and distribute care baskets for affected families.

Every single basket will be packed with vital necessities:
* Food and clean drinking water
* Clothing and toiletries
* Feminine hygiene products
* Toys and essentials for children

How you can support:
1. Donate: If you have the means to give, any amount helps purchase these supplies directly. You can send donations directly via:
* Venmo: Alfredo-Crossman-Chavez
* Cash App: $fredocash
*
2. Share & Repost: If you can’t give financially, please hit the share button. Getting this video in front of more eyes means more awareness and more support for the people of Panama.
3. My phone number 585-623-6273

I’ll be posting updates on my stories every single day so you can see exactly where your donations are going and how the recovery efforts are moving forward. Let’s come together and lift up the community. 🇵🇦❤️

I’m a huge fan of hometown hero’s!

Someone who I have looked up to since I moved to LA was @barack_obutta . He’s been a major presence in his own community making sure whatever he offers its to the people of South Central first.

I also look up to @jazzysworldtv . She is someone who I see myself in! First generation, Panameña , journalist/reporter, and this specific energy that makes everyone want to just smile around her!

At the Panama 🇵🇦 vs England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 game I seen @jazzysworldtv and said I need to get a picture! She was super kind and said “ no problem “ . But I told myself when would this moment happen again? So I asked “ could I interview you? “ she yet again agreed and said “ sure “ .

We spoke about the game, being panameña , and most of all what’s she most prideful about being from Panama 🇵🇦. Thank you for representing our culture and always speaking about being panameña 🇵🇦.

When I tell you I’m a true believer of God and how he works in mysterious ways! This has not only encouraged me but pushed me to start my IG @thejourneyandjersey

Thank you all for viewing! Thank you Jazzy! #Panama #fifaworldcup2026 #journalist #afrolatino #507pty🇵🇦
