Two #AZIFF34 awardees, one LA marquee. We love to see it!

For one day on their theatrical runs, @dontletthemoutfilm (Best Indie Feature) and The Last Picture Shows (Jury Awardee) shared the marquee at the Laemmle Santa Monica. Both films are still screening around the country -- follow their pages for skeds!

Thank you @digitalfilmtree, amazing post company for Don't Let Them Out, for letting us share their screening photo.

Special thanks to director Rustin Thompson and executive producer Rachel Price for joining us for THE LAST PICTURE SHOWS! 🎬

We loved hosting the post-screening conversation and learning about art houses far and wide.

The Last Picture Shows is BACK in ASHLAND!

Opening on Friday, September 25 at the Varsity Theatre, The Last Picture Shows reminds viewers that even in vast cinema deserts, there are oases of community and gathering that remain, where the movie house continues to be a place of wonder, contemplation, and connection. On Saturday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m. there will be a Filmmaker Talkback with Rustin Thompson. If you haven’t had the chance to experience this beyond moving film, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

“Spare and beguiling... The movie’s lyrical and elegiac tone makes it truly resonant.” - The New York Times Critics Pick
