I have endless hydrangeas—literally 😂—and this is my favorite way to make them last all year long.

The secret is WHEN you cut them. 🌸 Wait until they’ve turned that gorgeous deeper pink and the petals feel slightly firm and papery—not when they’re still fresh and soft.

Then:
✂️ Cut the stems on an angle
🍃 Strip off all the leaves
🐜 Give them a good shake AND a rinse because, trust me, bugs love hydrangeas
💧 Pop them in a vase with just about 2 inches of water

And then…leave them alone! The water will slowly disappear and the hydrangeas will dry beautifully right in the vase.

Free flowers for the rest of the year. YAY. 💕🌸

SAVE this for your hydrangeas!
