Word of the day: PERSEVERANCE 🫶🏼

Because I’m all about documenting the difficult days too, not just the peachy progress pictures.

Today I had a HUGE wobble. Physically and emotionally. 😂

Boxing was tough. Not because I couldn’t do it, but because of how I felt in my own skin.

I felt like my body wobbled, and worse, that everyone else could see it. I pulled at my leggings, covered my tummy with my coat during sit-ups and cried on the bloody stepper.

All those thoughts I’ve worked SO hard to quieten came flooding back.

Am I getting too fluffy? Do people think I’ve put on weight? Do I still look attractive? Do I even feel sexy anymore?

And THAT is what I need to unlearn.

I’ve worked SO bloody hard to find my own self-approval, but today made me question something.

Have I really built my own self-approval, or have I built a version of it that’s still dependent on how I look?

Because if my confidence still depends on feeling lean, looking a certain way or how I THINK others perceive me, then I’ve still got work to do.

And that’s okay.

Growing isn’t just about building muscle. It’s about building resilience, sitting with uncomfortable feelings and learning that I can feel uncomfortable in my body without needing to change it.

After boxing, I went to PT with my sister, changed my leggings (sometimes it really IS the bloody leggings 😂), and she took these photos.

My body hadn’t changed in an hour. My perspective was starting too.

I can wobble, cry, question everything and STILL carry on.

Because this journey isn’t just about changing my body. It’s about changing my relationship with it.

And WOW I am SO determined to do this.

Some people come into your life as a lesson or a blessing.

These two right here. The biggest blessing⭕️

18 Days of work.
Checking in every single morning.

Numerous in person check ins (TBT travelled the country to make sure we had those btw)

Tom literally was by my side from Thursday, into the show.
Himself and Charlotte go over and beyond, and I truly couldn't have felt more confident and calm going into my first show.
Between the two of them, they had everything on lock and I quite literally didn't have anything to stress over other than enjoy it!

Mrs TBT on hair, makeup and tan duties, AGAIN, by the way, she didn't have to, it's not expected but my god it's appreciated❤️

A few weeks ago, I lost a lot of confidence in what I was trying to achieve to be quite honest.

Fast forward...

To creating a village and a family who showed UP!

A real 'is that me?' Kind of moment, which was so good.

Good people deserved to screamed about, especially coaches, they are the ones who are in it with you every step of the way, and ultimately make it happen and all come together.

So to Tom and Char, coach, friend, family, twin.

Thank you so much, words don't do it justice ❤️

Ps. Let's run it back⭕️🤛🏻

WOAH. WE HAVE A FIRST. 🚨🤣

I actually don’t mind what my legs and glutes look like in these clips.

Yep. I said it 🤣🤣

BACK on plan.
BACK doing it.
BACK BACK BACK.

And this week? This week is A WEEK. 🤣

I’m away on a leadership course residential - something that, believe it or not, pushes me massively out of my comfort zone.

It’s the final few days of ball planning - this time around - wow! I’m fairly certain planning our actual wedding will feel like a walk in the park!

At the same time, at the gym we’re launching Glute Camp 🍑, more Small Group PT programmes on the horizon 👀 Forest Gump is happening on Sunday, Maximum Games in out there and well….there is so much more to be revealed 👀

ALL works are WORKING.

Normally a week like this could very easily become an excuse to let everything else wobble.

But I WON’T LET IT!

There’s a gym here, I’ve been given a maximum strength vibe offsite plan.

Food planned. Training planned. Adjustments made.

Not because fitness needs to take over my life - but because having that bit of structure when everything else is mental keeps my head above the water.

And I think THAT is the bit I’m finally getting.

The plan doesn’t only work when life is easy.

It needs to work when life is LIFE.

And apparently, somewhere along the way, we start looking at our legs and thinking…

I don’t mind them. 🥹🍑
