Another good day on the course for Valpo cross, as the men and women both had their best-ever team finishes at Notre Dame's meet. Samantha Rowley turned in the fourth-fastest women's 5k in program history, while Braden Hoff moved up in the program record book with a PR in the 8k.

✨ Meet our next VUXC Golden Girl, Sam Rowley! ✨

Sam is a sophomore majoring in Nursing from Barrington, Illinois. Her favorite event is the 10K during track season—and honestly, the entire cross country season! 😁 During the summer, she works at the snack bar at a golf course. When she’s not running, she loves playing pickleball and swimming. A fun fact about Sam is that she could eat chicken nuggets for every meal of the day! This season, she’s looking forward to chasing big goals and running fast. We can’t wait to see Sam crush it this year—go Beacons!
