What a month July has been! Filled with exciting projects, installations, site visits and so many inspiring moments. We’re incredibly grateful for every opportunity to create beautiful spaces and bring our clients’ visions to life.

We can’t wait to share everything we’ve been working on, and August is already shaping up to be another exciting month.

The bedrooms in our duplex show apartment for @syhomesltd were designed to feel warm, elegant and effortlessly liveable. Soft, muted tones, tactile fabrics and carefully considered details.

We’re so thrilled to finally showcase our latest duplex show apartment in collaboration with @syhomesltd

This has been such a wonderful project to work on, and we’ve loved bringing every detail together to create a home that feels both sophisticated and inviting.

From the carefully curated finishes that @syhomesltd have selected to the layered furnishings and styling, every space has been thoughtfully designed to inspire.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this beautiful apartment to life. We can’t wait for you to see more.

RITE RITUALS STANDING STILL at Swan Hill Studios.

Two artists, TERESA MCCANN CLARK and KAREN SUSKIN bring distinct yet complementary approaches to making, each grounded in a sustained engagement with materials and the slow processes of attention.

Working across painting, textile, found matter and installation, the exhibition explores how landscape, weather, memory and embodied experience become inscribed in surfaces and forms. Marks accumulate, materials weather, garments carry traces, and natural substances act as repositories of time and place.

Though differing in medium and method, both artists share a commitment to process-led practice, allowing meaning to emerge through acts of observation, making and reflection. Together, the works invite viewers to consider the ways in which the outer world and inner experience become entangled through material practice.
Curated with Sam Pooley-Stride
Open Wednesday 8th & Thursday 9th July 10-3pm and extended Monday 13th - Thursday 17th 10am-3pm Free Entry.

From studio to gallery in a few brief frames. The years of walking, reading, collecting, drawing, photographing and of course painting, all come together to produce the final pieces. We’ve extended the exhibition dates for RITE•RITUAL•STANDING STILL @swanhillstudios until the 16th July. So there’s still plenty of opportunity to pop by and spend some time with the work. We’d love to see you there. @swanhillstudios @pswecreate @sampooleystride @karen_suskin

Lovely to be invited to the private viewing last night of a really cool collection of local and national artwork @shrewsburymuseum ahead of @shrewsbury_arts_trail starting today until the end of August. Good to take my little one along, chat to some fabulous local artists and see their superb artwork too :) @sarahktheartist @findfocusphil @lucycaddel_art @sampooleystride @amyrhodesart ☺️. Plenty of time for local peeps to check out all the awesome art stuff happening over town during the summer! 🖼️

Most of these paintings began long before I picked up a brush.

They began while walking. Standing still. Waiting for rain to clear. Watching mist gather. Noticing light disappear across a wall or water settle into stillness.

This week, a joint exhibition with extraordinary artist @karen_suskin opens at Swan Hill Studios @swanhillstudios

If you’re nearby, I’d love you to come and spend some time with the work.

Public Places.
The Evolution of Shropshire’s Civic Buildings is currently showing at @shrewsburymuseum Museum, bringing together historical material and contemporary responses to some of Shrewsbury’s best-known civic buildings, including the ever-debated Shirehall.

There’s a really varied mix of work in the exhibition, loving Sam’s piece Marmite, a fitting title for a building that splits opinion locally. A couple of my own pieces are included in the show too.

The exhibition runs from 12 May – 17 June, 10am–4pm, and entry is free.

My lovely friend @giselarobinsonart invited me to the launch of Public Places at @shrewsburymuseum today as hers and @monicasilverart work was featured, and was a perfect reason to catchup after too long 😊

A big part of the show looks at Shirehall, its history, and what might happen to it next, which made the whole thing feel very Shrewsbury in the best way. It was lovely seeing such a mix of artwork, especially with a few familiar names 🥰💛
