A recent visit to @fabmoinc yielded a bunch of fabulous fabric sample pieces for a steal of a price, some were actually free!

I used one piece to make a new mini pocket journal (based on the online class @raemissigman @sandikeene). I love these little journals! They can be mini art journals, travel journals or daily diaries. I use mine for capturing little bits of ephemera that help remind me of events / activities as well as keep little bits of gems (a sweet fabric scrap, a little note from a friend, a sticker from an event).

What would you use it for?

Sharing a little flip-through of my art journals today! 🎨✨ Each one holds a different chapter of color, texture, and creative play. I love seeing how my style shifts from page to page — it’s like a tour through my own imagination. 💛

This journal is a pocket journal from a class taught by @sandikeene and @raemissigman

When I need a little color inspiration I reach for one of my watercolor journals. I am notorious for using all the colors all the time. I like to mix them up and let them pool together. I think it’s the mystery of it all that gets me. So, yes. All the colors please.

I co-teach some fun colorful classes with @sandikeene where we explore both the magical medium of watercolor and color mixing! Comment WATERCOLOR and I’d be happy to share a link to all our classes!
