😂 We let Risa do the counting… and she understood the assignment! 💪🤣

Keeping the push-ups going in support of @thompson_c17 and @sgtrobitaille #StartsWithTen movement! 👊🔥

It’s about more than push-ups. It’s about building mental resilience, staying consistent and learning to keep going when things get uncomfortable. One rep at a time!

That’s what we’re about in our FREE police applicant and POPAT conditioning community. We train hard, support each other and have a few laughs along the way. No ego, no membership — just good people working toward their goals together. 🚔💯

Who’s counting next? 😂👇

When the cops join the push-up challenge… you know we’re counting. 😂💪

Keeping StartsWithTen going with @thompson_c17 and @sgtrobitaille — and this time we had @sgtjponsioen / @jp_out.of.the.blue and a couple of @transitpolicebc members jump in with us. 👊🚔

It’s about more than the push-ups. #StartsWithTen is about building mental resilience, consistency and the ability to keep going when things get uncomfortable.

Although, after hearing me count 7… 7… 7… Sgt Julien was probably wondering how I ever passed the ETHOS. 😂

That’s what I love about this community — applicants, members and officers can train together, support each other and have a few laughs along the way.

And yes… it’s FREE. No membership, no ego — just good people pushing each other to improve.

@lawlman113 had ONE job… and somehow it became a life-or-death decision. 😂

We’re back at it with #StartsWithTen, supporting @thompson_c17 and @sgtrobitaille with the 10 push-ups. 💪

This time Blair got promoted to official counter… and immediately realized he had a problem. 😂

Count too easy ➡️ he knows he’s running laps next Saturday.
Count “correctly” ➡️ everyone else suffers.

The problem? He doesn’t know I’m making him run laps regardless. 😂🏃‍♂️

That’s what I love about this group. We can push each other hard, take the training seriously and still have a laugh while doing it.

If you’re preparing for the POPAT, police application fitness testing or a career in policing, come train with us. Our FREE police applicant & POPAT conditioning program is built around community, accountability and helping each other improve.

No membership. No ego. Just good people, hard work and questionable counting skills. 😂👊

I’m pretty sure I need to work on my counting skills… 😂 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10!

We haven’t posted them in a while, but we’ve definitely been doing them. 💪 Supporting @thompson_c17 and @sgtrobitaille with their #StartsWithTen movement and keeping those reps going.

It’s a good reminder that small, consistent habits add up — especially when you’re preparing for the POPAT or a police application. You don’t always need a massive workout; sometimes you just need to show up and get the reps done.

Our FREE police applicant & POPAT conditioning program is all about showing up, working hard, supporting each other and getting better together. No membership. No ego. Just a crew that wants to see you succeed.

We’re training tomorrow — come join us. 👊🔥

Not sure if Pinner liked to go for runs, but today he came along for a Lunchtime Run on the Toronto Beltline

Day 652 of #itstartswithten . Took a driver to TV’s Corner Gas filming location Roleau, SK today. Remember that no matter where you find yourself, there’s always time for some push-ups to stay mentally and physically prepared for emergencies. #rcmp #rcmpdepot #canada @j_sally23 @sgtrobitaille @police_training_vancouver

#itstartswithten I guess I need new places to knock out some push-ups and help keep my fellow police officers and cadets/recruits motivated to stay as physically and mentally happy as possible. Any suggestions for the Regina area? #police #rcmpdepot #regina

The Kick it on St Clair Flower Market (@rhvbia), in support of a local food bank, was held at Santa Chiara Parkette in mid July was a beautiful community event but had an air of heaviness, and unsettledness.

We had planned the event a couple of weeks in advance, but a shocking and devastating circumstance had happened the previous evening: multiple injuries and a double fatal shooting at the annual fantastic Salsa on St Clair a few blocks east of us. My heart and thoughts are with the those impacted.

After consultation with local police and Councillor, we ultimately decided to proceed ahead. Flowers had been ordered and many things already in place. If anything, our event would allow people to connect and talk. We were listening ears for those that wanted to share their thoughts, or simply provided an outlet for people to take their minds off of the awful incident in their community.

For me, the most impactful moments of the day was showing appreciation for the first responders who showed up to the chaotic and crazy scene. We reached out to the Mayor’s Office to confirm exactly which stations were the first: Fire Station 343, Toronto Police 13 Division and Toronto EMS Southwest Service District and delivered bouquets of flowers to them. We were met with gratitude and a couple of tears. They felt scene and supported.

A big thank you to the staff supporting the event (Amanda, Kristen, Lisa, @sophie2009, @noahmsigwa and @noahmsigwa), Tannis from the BIA for popping in and @crywolfclothing for hosting the patch station, @djspencediamonds for spinning the tunes in a very fun but thoughtful way.
