Ep. 5 is live ✨ You don’t need 10 wow moments. You need the right ones. Creating a beautiful event within budget doesn’t mean every element needs to make the biggest statement. Identify areas/ moments that matter most, then make intentional choices around them. We call these " focal points" The seating. The tablescape. A statement bar. The rentals should support the vision, the layout and the needs of the event. This is also where a planner adds value. Clients shouldn’t have to navigate every option or determine where to spend versus where to pull back. A planner/designer helps make those decisions based on the vision, priorities, budget and needs of the event. This is your sign to book with @shecreates__ and relax knowing you're well taken care of :) Join the conversation on Youtube, Spotify, & Apple Podcasts. Client pickups can look like an easy place to save when you’re looking at an event budget. But that service isn’t simply about getting inventory from point A to point B. There’s transportation. Handling. Loading docks logistics. The condition of the inventory etc. 🫠 Monica is highlighting a point that applies to so many areas of events: before removing a service to save on the cost, understand what that service is taking off your plate. Sometimes you’re paying for convenience. Sometimes you’re paying to reduce risk. And sometimes, you’re paying for peace of mind. You should be considering all 3. Join us as we explore the business side of rentals, tonight at 7 PM. Functionality is key. If an event looks beautiful online but doesn’t flow for the guests or the needs of the event in person, was it really a successful experience? Every professional planner and designer considers how guests will move through a space before the decor is finalized. What I love about what Monica is saying is that @lllrentals considers those factors too. As they collaborate with the planning team, it’s not just about making sure we’re on the same page. It’s about paying attention to the details guests shouldn’t have to think twice about. The chair placement. The scale of the furniture. The space guests actually have to move. What looks good together versus what actually works together. Because the goal isn’t to fill a room with beautiful things. It’s to create a room that works beautifully too. Tap in with us tonight at 7 PM EST to learn more about one of the key components to planning a successful event. One thing experience has taught me: effortless events are earned. Through lessons learned from mistakes, problem-solving, and the flexibility to refine a process until you find what works. And the longer you do this work, the goal isn’t to know everything. It’s recognizing patterns faster. Making stronger decisions. Knowing when to trust the process and when the process needs to change. That’s the kind of experience you can’t shortcut. So when we talk about price, we also have to consider experience as part of the investment. Episode 4 drops tonight at 7 PM. Every exceptional event has a village behind it. Event rentals are a vital part of bringing an event design to life, but sometimes sourcing the right rental company can easily be overlooked, but not with LLL Rentals. 😊 In Episode 5, Monica of @lllrentals and @prissiproductions explains how quality rental partners can serve more than one purpose. There’s a benefit to being well versed in this industry. The more knowledgeable each professional is about the ecosystem around their expertise, the better they can collaborate within it. That creates balance between the planner and vendor team and ultimately, a better experience for the client. Monica has range, and we get into all the details on tomorrow's episode. @behindtheeventseries is not your typical “behind the scenes” of a beautiful event. Not another pretty portfolio or mood board. Not a meme telling you why your budget isn’t enough. We’re bringing you real conversations and insight into the people, processes and decisions behind exceptional events. It takes vision to see what could be. It takes experience to trust it before it exists. Event professionals, can you relate? We build what doesn’t exist yet. A vision, an idea, an experience, then figure out what it takes to bring it to life. So maybe opening a venue during COVID isn’t as surprising as it sounds. Experience has a way of showing us opportunity where others see risk. Lauren shares the proof of concept behind @42westentertainmentgroup and what happened when she trusted the vision anyway. Join us as we get into the business behind the experience. Real Conversations. Real Insight. It’s time to remove the mystery behind choosing the right venue for your event. Because the right venue is more than a beautiful space. What happens behind the scenes can shape your experience just as much as what you see. For Episode 4, I’m welcoming Lauren Pelissier, venue owner of @42westentertainmentgroup, to Behind The Event. We dive deep into venue ownership, industry perspective and a few conversations you may not expect. You may want to pay close attention to the perspective shared in this episode. Your brand is attached to the work. It’s always been law to protect the client and the integrity of what you create. Being forthright and transparent is part of doing good business. Your expertise should help guide the client, even when that means having an honest conversation about what will and won’t work. @christophermarcs and I get into professional integrity, accountability and knowing what you’re willing to put your brand behind. And in Chris’ words, we’re also trying to stay off The Shade Room. 😂 Join the conversation tonight at 7pm EST Host: @shecreates__ @behindtheeventseries Guest: @christophermarcs Filmed by: @greenmediahub @kadeemdp Location: @theactivationhouse_atlanta

Inspiration shows you what you like, but how do we make it yours? With access to beautiful ideas: Pinterest, magazines, art, fashion, interiors and the experiences we encounter daily, the creative process gets interesting when we move beyond what caught your attention and start asking why it did. That distinction can be the difference between recreating an idea and creating an experience that actually reflects you. I’m excited to welcome event designer, florist and stationery creative @christophermarcs to Behind The Event for a closer look at his approach to design; from interpreting a client’s inspiration to asking the questions that help translate their vision into something distinctly their own. Emerging event and floral designers, join the conversation, Chris is dropping nothing but gems throughout this episode. Episode 3 featuring Christopher Marcs premieres this Tuesday 9/22 Host: @shecreates__ @behindtheeventseries Guest: @christophermarcs 🎥: @greenmediahub @kadeemdp 📍: @theactivationhouse_atlanta

A seat at the table meant something. 🌹 I wanted to create an evening for the people who are so often behind the experience: Chefs, Culinary Creatives & Industry Professionals. Good food. Genuine connection. New relationships. A room full of people who simply understood one another. What started as an idea became something far greater than I imagined. The first of many. 🥂 — Chef Red Potatoes 🥰👩🏾‍🍳🌿🌹
