Your relationship with intimacy deserves honest conversations

I’m fascinated by the work of Angela Vossen, founder of Sextasy and a relationship coach who’s rewriting the rules around erotic empowerment and intimacy. What sets her apart? She’s lived it—navigating perimenopause, ethical non-monogamy, parenthood’s impact on desire, and all the messy, real challenges that most of us face but rarely discuss openly.

Angela’s approach is trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and rooted in this powerful truth: desire ebbs and flows. It’s not a personal failure. Whether you’re struggling with intimacy shifts during life transitions, curious about relationship structures beyond monogamy, or simply wanting to reconnect with your own desires, her work creates space for those conversations.

What resonates with me most is her philosophy that trust is an action, not just a feeling. It’s built through consistent alignment between our values and behaviours—toward ourselves first, then others.
If you’ve ever felt alone in navigating these challenges, you’re not. And there are compassionate, skilled professionals like Angela helping people reclaim their erotic lives with authenticity and joy.

Great chat with Lisa from Nudi @nudispray

Community and the importance of talking, sharing and supporting 🙌

Menopause can feel isolating 🥹 symptoms vary wildly, and many women feel dismissed or misunderstood. Hearing “me too” from others can be a huge relief. It normalises what you’re going through.

Real-life experiences from other women can be just as valuable as clinical advice. Members share what’s worked for them 🙌 from HRT options and supplements to coping strategies for brain fog, sleep, mood, and libido changes.

Support groups give women the confidence to speak up at their GP appointments, ask for the right treatment, and take control of their health. Collectively, they also drive change 👉 influencing awareness, education, and policy.

They create friendships and belonging at a time when many feel invisible. That connection is powerful 🙌 laughter, compassion, and shared experience are medicine in themselves.

Starting in 2027, a major ingredient used in many gel manicures will be banned due to health concerns.

This doesn’t mean the end of gel nails — but it does mean big changes are coming. Many brands are already reformulating, and safer alternatives are on the rise.

If you love your manicures, now’s the time to check what’s in your products and talk to your salon.
