some of my absolute favorite photos this past summer from NYO-USA

I was feeling nostalgic (i know this is late so please don't flame me in the comments) and just wanted to yap about how grateful I am for having such an incredible experience with the most inspiring musicians and colleagues. I'm grateful to have been able to travel the world (Asia) with some of the kindest and sweetest friends (special shoutout to @paloma.chaviraa @jocelynea_o and @eggsuitsheep ) all while performing beautiful repertoire (Rachmaninoff 2!!) in the best concert halls. I truly have no words for how much this program has impacted me and how much joy this past summer has filled my heart with. #nyousa

thank you again @nyo.usa 🥹🥹

around the world in 33 days - nyo '25❤️

This summer, I had the honor of attending NYO-USA and it was the most meaningful experience in my life so far. Travelling around Asia as part of a group with all of the same values and interests as me was incredibly inspiring and pushed me in ways I couldn't imagine. There was always work to be done, improvements to be made and I can say, a favorite part of the process was talking through every concert with my friends and realizing how much better our musicianship, our cohesiveness and our effort became with each one. Our conductor Gianandrea Noseda was the reason for our growth. I looked forward to every rehearsal, because in a few short hours, he managed to make us sound 100x better whilst still being the kindest, funniest conductor I've ever met. I wish beyond anything to be able to work with him again in the future. For Rachmaninoff Symphony No. 2 and encores, I was lucky enough to sit concertmaster and it was euphoric. Playing with some of the best highschool students in America and being able to hear every nuance within the music--leading from the first stand--really did feel like a dream. Thank you so much to our coach Juliana Athayde and conductor Jim Ross for giving me the opportunity.
