Stepping onto the red dot to share “Limits Are Just Borrowed” was an unforgettable milestone. 🔴

From steeplechase fences to running 3,140 km across China, the message is simple: we all carry an “I can’t.” But we don’t have to keep it. It only takes one step to change the story to “I can” and when you take that step, it affects everyone standing next to you.

Huge gratitude to the entire @tedxtinhauwomen team for creating such an incredible stage, and congratulations to all my fellow speakers who brought so much energy and heart to the room.

A very special thank you to @beks.james for pushing and sharpening my delivery as speaker coach, and to @itskuskus for the unwavering mentorship and belief throughout this journey.

One step at a time. The work continues. 🏃‍♂️

At the @tedxtinhauwomen yesterday, a speaker @sofie.fella said something that hit me right in the chest: so many of us spend our adult lives running from the shadows of early trauma, chased by an endless inner voice whispering “you’re too much, you are not good enough or you’re not doing enough.”

If I’m being completely transparent, that voice caught up with me recently. Between physical injury, non-stop pressure, and the expectation to always be “on,” it led to a complete mental breakdown. The exhaustion was physical, emotional, and deeply overwhelming.
In the middle of the hustle, those old childhood traumas came rushing back, telling me I was falling behind.

But then I looked at this photo of little me. 🥹
That little girl spent so much time feeling SMALL. She couldn’t have imagined that one day, despite every fear and every doubt, we would step out of those shadows and build something beautiful from scratch. That we would create a world full of sensory magic, laughter, and core memories for hundreds of children and families.

Running a business isn’t just about strategy—it’s about learning to hold space for your own healing while you build.

To anyone else carrying that heavy, quiet voice inside today: you do not have to burn yourself out to prove your worth. Look at how far you’ve come. Little you would be so, so proud. 🌿🤍

TEDxTinHauWomen @tedxtinhauwomen in Hong Kong! 🗣️🇭🇰

For years, I used to watch TED Talks online and it was always my dream to attend it life. Here we go again, third time attending TEDxTinHauWomen — is something very special.

It was incredibly inspiring, emotional and touching. I cried more than once, reflected on my own life, and walked away with quite a few personal insights and notes I shared above ☝️

As someone who grew up in sport and later built my own career around it, I was especially happy to see several speakers with a sports background and hear how sport shaped their mindset, choices and lives.

A few talks that stayed with me I shared in comments 💬👇

Yesterday reminded me how powerful one person’s story can be.

We often have no idea what another person has lived through, what they have overcome, or how their experience might become something that changes someone else’s life.

So much work goes into creating an event like this. Hats off to the organisers, speakers, volunteers and everyone involved in making TEDxTinHauWomen such a meaningful experience. 👏❤️🙏🏻

I left inspired, emotional, grateful — and with a lot to think about.

One day I will be the one, who’s sharing my story, that little girl with big dreams you see on the picture above ❤️

Behind every powerful TED Talk is a moment backstage where raw nerves turn into total confidence. Here’s what happened when the Glow Team took over hair and makeup at TEDxTinHau Women...

What an absolute honor to be backstage at TEDx TinHau Women, sponsoring hair and makeup for some of the most inspiring speakers we’ve ever met!!!

Seeing these incredible women step onto that stage radiating confidence, power, and purpose was nothing short of electric.

Big ideas take courage - AWESOME WORK!
THIS where the real magic happens. 💥💄

To every speaker who shared their story and every woman sharing an idea, a life experience or building something new: WE see you, WE celebrate you, and we’re right here in your corner. Let’s keep making noise! 👇

Drop a 🔥 in the comments if you’re ready to start your next big chapter.
