🚏When you don’t know which road to take, just pave your own path…

🚎The artist’s journey is quite an adventure full of twists and turns. The road requires commitment, consistency and confidence in your craft even with no map and you don’t always know where the road will lead.

🏘️It’s also about listening to your intuition as you express, but openness to learning and evolving amidst doubt, error and redirection. Sometimes it may not mean following a road at all but paving your own path. Other times you might get stuck on a road that no longer serves you and an exit can be an entrance to a beautiful new beginning. Either way as an independent artist, you are in the driver’s seat.

💬I’m so inspired after reflecting on my amazing artist chat with @songbrewery that I can barely contain my excitement. Swipe for some sneak peaks and for the full interview, head over to my bio 🤗

🎨Also the talented artist @cindyknightartist surprised me with this portrait this past week and it really touched me. Especially because she describes that the heart shapes and bubbles in the background represent the heartfelt and optimistic feelings she felt my music radiates🥹 Cindy this is beautiful thank you! Swipe to see it and check out the all the artwork on her page 💖

🌸Speaking of roads, due to live music and travels my comments are off today. But CANADA I’m coming for you 🇨🇦 Stay tuned in my stories for Ontario live events in May and June! I wish you a wonderful weekend friends and remember whatever journey you are on, the ride is yours so make it worthwhile 😉

Such wisdom from @brenebrown. How are you using your creativity?

Reposted from @ediewadsworth • When you set aside what makes your heart light up, it makes it easier to settle for false pleasures. It makes lying to yourself easier. It makes you blame other people that your life hasn't turned out the way you'd hoped.

Brene Brown said it best, "Unused creativity is not benign. It metastasizes. It turns into grief, rage, judgement, sorrow, shame.”

It also turns into a pile of bad habits that we're not proud of.

Playlist support is so important to a single release as it allows your track to be put in front of listeners who may not organically come to find your music. It's literally how people in other countries are streaming my song as I type! For an independent and unsigned artist, this is everything and really helps drive streams and help increase your audience for future releases.

Thank you to all the glorious people who have, so far, added my tracks to their playlist, this is amazing! And to @Libertypr for the great work they did and clearly the epic contacts they have!

I did a thing yesterday.
-
Early voting is over in Tennessee but that doesn't mean you still can't make it out for the general election! Make a plan and get to it.
-
Also, shout-out to @songbrewery for featuring #DreamOn on their #Spotify playlist. Appreciate the love y'all! 🙏
