dpas.info (Link in bio) Collaborator @ss2_architects @buenosaires1999 The official website of DPAS—Digital-Pyisical Architecture Studio at the School of Architecture, Hanyang University ERICA—is now open. (Link in bio) The website brings together approximately five years of architectural design curricula, selected student works, and my own research and projects. Beyond presenting completed outcomes, it aims to archive the processes through which the work has developed, along with the educational questions and intentions behind it. Through this platform, I hope to gradually articulate the kind of architectural education I wish to pursue and document the experiments and developments that emerge along the way. The archive will be updated regularly as my teaching and research continue to evolve. Please stay tuned for future updates.

Material Agency. Hand Basketery. @leeummuseumofart #CHANELculturefund

SS2 Architects “For many years, Cheonggyecheon was framed within a binary of the artificial versus the natural, its restoration criticized as a constructed hydrological landscape sustained by engineered intervention. Yet twenty years later, it has evolved into a viable ecological habitat. For urban residents, the question is not whether such nature is ‘authentic,’ but how it facilitates moments of encounter, reflection, and restoration within the routines of daily life. In this sense, Cheonggyecheon presents a spatial condition where city, nature, and art intersect—offering the potential for new modes of experience and perception within the contemporary urban environment.” Excerpt from Artist Interview Keunyoung Lim, SS2 Architects

Almost, But Not Quite, Entirely Unlike Body//2022 Exhibition design for RSNA 2022 by @ss2_architects, in collaboration with Imagebakery and e:um International McCormick Place, Chicago, USA At the intersection of medicine and media, Almost, But Not Quite, Entirely Unlike Body stages a curious translation: how the anatomy of a system becomes spatial. Conceived for RSNA 2022, the installation treats the exhibition hall not as a neutral container but as an organism with membranes, vessels, and circulations. Here, the booth performs rather than displays. It abstracts the human form into fields of light and surface, transforming the diagnostic into the architectural. Between translucency and opacity, visibility and concealment, @ss2_architects with @imagebakery and e:um International create a body that is both present and deferred an ephemeral architecture suspended between care and control. . . . . . . . . . #almostbutnotquiteentirelyunlikebody #ss2architects #imagebakery #euminternational #RSNA2022 #mccormickplace #exhibitiondesign #ephemeralarchitecture #architectureofdisplay #architecturalbody #spatialtranslation #architectureandmedicine #designasperformance #spatialintelligence #architecturalanatomy #architectureofcare #installationarchitecture #mafhasstyle #modernexhibition #architectureandmedia

COLUMNS by SS2 Architects In this project, structure stops being a rigid obstacle and becomes part of the spatial experience itself. The slender steel columns and suspended slabs dissolve the heaviness, opening the field of view and intensifying the sense of lightness. These elements blur the line between structure and atmosphere — columns no longer divide space, they create it.
