I sat down with legendary ethnobotanist and community builder Stephen Brooks to understand why we need to move beyond sustainability and “make a radical shift”.

The feedback has been amazing on this latest episode. I’ve been wanting to speak to @stephenrbrooks for a long time.

Find it wherever you get your podcasts or on our YouTube channel. The links are in our bio!

Keep growing! 🌱

The most important knowledge we can learn 🌱

Herbalism empowers us to have medicine, community and self reliance wherever we go, which I think is the most essential education right now.

In a world forgetting everything about our true nature, I’ve been trying to remember.

Rewild. Return to the old ways.

Before massive corporations mutated health into a slew of products to put on shelves, processed and packaged and designed to keep us chained.

The medicine is, and always has been, around us. 👁️

And that’s something AI can’t teach. The personal connection and deep, organic expansion that comes from learning how to work with plants is something that gives me unrivaled peace.

I know that no matter what happens, nature has my back.

…and I learned a lot of this with @ecoversity 📚

In their 100 Hour Herbalism Program, you learn EVERYTHING - no seriously - everything about the craft. From a diverse board of experts, you’re taught a holistic, complete curriculum. From plant identification to 30+ medicine making recipes… water harvesting to wild foraging. Even the business side of it, if you’re looking to establish a career.

This course is perfect for someone ready to start walking a different path. 🌲🦶🏼

With lifetime access for learning at your own pace, as well as 25 hours of live classes and mentorship. This is online learning that translates into a better reality.

The global community of likeminded plant freaks that I’ve come into through @ecoversity has been a web that’s made a lot of my dreams come true…

Discover your true nature and join us at the FREE herbal summit to get a taste of the magic! 🔮

If you’ve been looking for the right course and you’re ready to dive in, use code PATCHOULI to save on tuition.

A better world is out there, and it starts with us. 🌿

All around the world, people are working to regenerate degraded ecosystems. And at the same time, many of us are remembering how plants can help us care for and restore our own bodies.

The potential for healing, both personal and planetary, is enormous. And some of our greatest teachers have been here all along: the plants themselves.

This October, we’re gathering 34 herbalists, medicine makers, clinicians, and teachers who have spent their lives learning from them.

Join us October 14–16 for the FREE online Herbal Medicine Making Summit, with three days of practical, inspiring sessions to bring more herbal medicine into your hands and home.

🌿 Learn what to grow at home with Chris Outdoors (@wildmuskoka)
🌿 Make herbal syrups with accessible ingredients with the Seed Sistas (@seed_sistas)
🌿 Explore a gentler approach to herbs with Asia Suler (@asiasuler)
🌿 Learn alongside Pedram Shojai (@drpedramshojai), Sheleana Aiyana (@sheleanaaiyana, @risingwoman), Seraphina Capranos (@seraphina.capranos), Dr. Jacqui Wilkins, ND (@among_the_wildflowerss), Cait Woolery (@caitlin_woolery_ccmh), Sobande Greer (@iamsobandeg), Tara Lanich-LaBrie (@themedicinecircle), Darin Olien (@darinolien), and Tarun Nayar (@modernbiology101)
🌿 Unlock access to all 24 sessions from last year’s summit including teachings from Mark Hyman (@drmarkhyman), Zach Bush (@zachbushmd), Louie Schwartzberg (@movingartchannel), Adriana Ayales (@adrianaayales) and more

Come learn from the plants and the people who have devoted their lives to working with them. 🌱
