21 more days till the crucible

Me yesterday evening scrolling through IG: “DAMN, that looks like a badass workout. Wonder how bad that would suck 😂 Save it for a rainy day.”

Next day: “Well… looks like it’s a rainy day. Let’s get after it.”

100 reps of each exercise at bodyweight. And yes, I weigh 175 lbs.

Haven’t been this lean since the fire academy. Honestly, I’m probably in the best shape of my life right now at 41, and I don’t intend on slowing down anytime soon. 🤙🏽

Moral of the story: Be careful what you save on IG… tomorrow you might be doing it. 😂🥵

Day 1: AMRAP in gear 🥵🥴
Day 2: Strength work 🤙🏽💪🏽

I do my best to split my workouts into two different styles while on shift. One day, push the work capacity and get uncomfortable in gear. The next, focus on moving weight and building strength. 🤘🏽

Go sprint some hills. It's good for you. (Also practice moving quickly in reverse, you never know when that might come in handy) ☠⚔️☠

250 Push-ups
150 Lunges
100 Core
50 Pull-ups

Because apparently, 10 rounds wasn’t enough. 😂 @huttofirestrengthconditioning
