Space Story : Studio MAXIMA

Studio MAXIMA is a creative hub in Los Angeles that brings together artists, designers, and entrepreneurs through curated conversations. Founded by Eli Bucksbaum, this space enables meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and cultural exchange, making every interaction an opportunity to spark new ideas. As Eli puts it, “A conversation is a collaboration.”

At the heart of Studio MAXIMA is the ‘Artist Assembly’, a session designed to connect creatives across various disciplines. More than just a gathering, each conversation serves as a platform where voices are heard, perspectives are shared, and stories are told. “We collect chairs and find interesting people to sit in those chairs,” Eli says, highlighting how every seat represents a unique perspective and a space for creative dialogue.

Beyond the conversations, Studio MAXIMA challenges its community to become self-advocates for their creative and entrepreneurial work. Artist Assembly is just a jumping off point.

Through curated events and everyday exchanges, Studio MAXIMA continues to shape the landscape of art and culture. Here, creativity thrives, ideas turn into action, and conversations become lasting collaborations. “Pull up a chair. A conversation can take you anywhere.”

life’s wild because one day you’re injured and learning how to walk again, then the next you’re traveling europe solo as revenge, then you’re putting all your things into storage to live in mexico, then you’re back in los angeles after finding your dream apartment.

how’s the transition back? i’m still struggling to get into a routine after a whirlwind year but i’m giving myself hella grace while creating home. i’m obsessed with my apartment + spaces around la that feel good like @figandoak. we really need more third spaces.
