It’s official! Studio Hozuki has moved to Onex. (Beautiful hozuki sculptures by @cobamae . Photos by yours truly.)

Here in Onex for 13 months. Then we’ll move again. Doing my best with this instability.

It’s a pervasive instability, not just in the US. I won’t deny it’s taken up a lot of my headspace and heart space. All the more reason to hold tight to what you love and give more to that love.

Hot off the press, is news about an Amazon Data center opening near Santa Cruz. I hope construction can be stopped! The long term impact it will have on the community as well as our precious and fragile environment is horrific. See stories.

Even though this is an art feed, it feels impossible, not to speak out about all that is going on. It’s too much! Without people pushing back, they’ll just get away with all that they can. Which could mean the end to our democracy. I have been in deep reflection on what I can do as an artist around the current state of affairs. Hence, a lot of ruminating on eggs! The quintessential, creative element.

For the people wondering what I’m up to: 2 relocations. Piecing the studio together. Lots of travel. For the rest, stay tuned and keep loving.

Some big news— @studiohozuki is relocating, blame my husband‘s experiment, that is located in CERN. Taking some shots to document this time at Michaelangelo Studios in Santa Cruz. I will miss you!!! Thanks everyone who has been supporting this creative journey! Last call for art. Will post more once we get settled in Geneva.

Warm Winter Solstice greetings all! We’ve almost made it through 2025.

I will be facilitating a #SoulCollage Workshop today in honor of this shortest day of the year, at Tumbleweed Found in #downtownsantacruz . For anyone wanting to connect with their inner wisdom using this expressive arts practice, there is more information in the link below.

Life is short. Stay centered. Hug your loved ones. Don’t be overwhelmed by the hype. Sending you all my love for today & 2026, Year of the Fire Horse coming.

I will miss this tradition! Enjoyed visiting and exhibiting the Gallery with homegirl @ercilia_art who is also showing

So many lovely pieces to see! Mine is acrylic on canvas and wood panel. Started it in 2022. Finally complete. I think my favorite part is the hot pink border. Late for the Party.
