Part café, part quirky corner shop, Corner Store on Sharrow Vale Road has its shelves stocked with local treats and a tempting selection of cakes/bakes. A great little stop for a coffee.

Taith Coffee’s El Paraíso from Colombia, a Castillo variety processed using washed yeast fermentation. A fruit-forward coffee with notes of peach, lychee and mango, bringing plenty of tropical sweetness to the milk.

🚨 New guest roaster alert 🚨

We’re super excited to welcome Taith Coffee to Copper + Straw 🤩

Based in Sussex, England, Taith are a small independent roastery known for their exceptional light-roast coffees, with a focus on quality, transparency and bringing out the unique character of every coffee they source. We've got three beautiful coffees to share with you ✨

☕ ON ESPRESSO

🇰🇪 Kamavindi | Kenya
Process: Natural
Tasting notes: Plum, red grapes, red wine 🍇

A beautifully fruity Kenyan espresso with rich, wine-like notes.

💧 ON FILTER — TAKE YOUR PICK

🇧🇷 Aracaçau | Brazil
Process: Natural Aerobic Fermentation
Tasting notes: Raisins, prunes, vanilla, syrupy sweetness.

🇨🇴 Lychee Peach | Colombia
Process: Washed Yeast Fermentation
Tasting notes: Peach, lychee, mango 🥭🍑

And yes, we're serving two different filter coffees side by side, so you can choose your favourite (or try both).

Three very different coffees, each with something special going on. And there's more to come, with another selection of coffees from Taith arriving in a few weeks.

We can't wait for you to try them 🫶

Morning moments using @taithcoffee monthly subscription, loved the collaboration with @tntcoffeelab using a polar bear process with the coffee where they ferment the coffee while it slowly dehydrates inside a cold room at 9-10°C and gradually in phases increase the temperature, this should create an extremely fruity, sweet, and floral coffee which I can say it does 🫶 I also enjoyed this with my new cup can mornings really get any more peak 🤍
