Some experiences really do live up to the hype🥹🇮🇹

Taking a gondola ride through Venice, Italy was definitely one of them.

I love planning a trip and finding all the things to see and do, but some of my favorite travel memories are the moments when I can just slow down and take it all in.

Floating through those little canals with my husband, admiring the architecture and seeing Venice from a completely different perspective? Easily one of my favorite moments from our Italy trip🤍

I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

WFH with kids sounds great until you actually have to get some work done 😅

Shoutout to places like Grow Café, Kiddie Cade, Cloud Nine, and even Great Wolf Lodge for giving us Charlotte mamas options outside of our living rooms.

Being able to bring our laptops, “get some work done”, and still let our kids enjoy their day is something we don’t take for granted.

Not every day has to be spent choosing between being productive and getting the kids out of the house.

We appreciate the businesses that make it easier for us to do both. 🩷

Two babies, countless flights, road trips, walks, playdates + everyday errands later… our Doona has easily been one of our most-used baby products. 🥹✈️

From family travel with a baby to everyday mom life, I love anything that makes getting out of the house with little ones easier. And the fact that we got to use the same Doona car seat + stroller with BOTH of our babies? Definitely worth it. 🙌🏾

When the mom group becomes the village💕

Before baby arrives, we spent a couple of days helping make postpartum a little easier for our good friend Philly - meal prepping and filling the freezer, washing and organizing baby clothes, building the bassinet, stocking the bedside cart and getting everything ready at her home.

Postpartum support doesn’t have to start after birth.

Sometimes being the village looks like showing up with your kids, taking over the kitchen, folding tiny clothes and handling a few things so another mom has less to think about later🥹

This is the kind of mom community we love building here in Charlotte - showing up for each other through the fun moments and the practical ones too.

It really does take a village🫶🏽🩷

Aaron walks us through some of the costumes and details that go into the show, and the reel gives you a peek at how everything comes together once they hit the ice.

The first Charlotte show is tonight at Bojangles Coliseum, with more shows throughout the weekend. Several are almost sold out, but Saturday still has availability right now.

Definitely check your preferred showtime sooner rather than later if you’re planning to go with the kiddos.

Taking the kids to Disney On Ice in Charlotte? Let’s talk about the stuff parents actually want to know 👀⛸️

We got to experience Disney On Ice: Spotlight Magic! at Bojangles Coliseum, and here’s the parent recap:

🚗 Parking is FREE
✨ Souvenirs start around $4, with plenty of options at different price points
👕 There’s Disney merch for the grown-ups too
🍕 Food and drinks were more reasonably priced than we expected for an arena
🤱 Nursing/pumping moms — there’s a private nursing pod inside
🫧 And the show itself had plenty to keep everyone entertained, from the characters and skating to bubbles and audience interaction

Disney On Ice is in Charlotte through Sunday, October 4, with multiple shows remaining.
