Q1 felt like picking the ball back up, throwing a few shots up, and realizing I love the game just as much as the game loves me. A whole lot of putting one foot in front of the other, with the right people cheering and chipping in to keep the ball rolling, and somehow we’re back on offense just in time for Q2. 🫦🌍 #TheWorldIsYours

A few reminders and a moment to check in with yourselves as spring is around the corner. You don’t need to abandon any habit or routine if it still serves you, you’ve already learnt so much this winter. We’re so proud of you 🫶🏽

Let us know what you’re looking forward to or if something resonates.

A collection of moments from the AFCON tournament @qns.pickup, @bamba_sports and @p.9.6 put together this weekend. We couldn’t be in Morocco so we gathered to watch the games played by our fellow Africans here in the city and it was amazing. African football culture is an unmatched unifying force. Can’t wait to see who takes home the AFCON trophy at the end of this week!

The Cost of Visibility is being… seen. I’ve officially posted my first writing on Substack.

This is the exact energy we’ll be moving thru in my writing workshop, “Start Where You Are”, so I hope to see you there🖤

The links for all the things are in my bio + my stories 🥲

I’ve been sitting on this idea since the 26th of June, I wanted to be very intentional with how I put it together. I did not want to write merely for show yet from a deeper and more sacred place. I finally got to writing it last week and finished it yesterday.
Yet, as fate would have it, @nthabimabote had gracefully given me feedback on my previous piece “She” and what stood out to me the most was how she said, “When I write, I create a space where feminine energy can exist,” and this was the cherry on top for me, that made everything EVEN MORE worthwhile. Nthabi saying this showed me how the feminine is felt collectively and how aligned this piece I had envisioned was, in fact it pushed me to share what I had kept to myself (s/o and thank you to @nthabimabote - your words always hold weight☺️🥹). I say this all to say, may we keep making space for how the feminine shows up in our lives, our work and our overall being. Everything felt so divinely aligned and right on time.🌹

To the @wozasisi team: @tsholofelo_kodisang , @dahliamaubane , @fulufhelo_mobadi @ok______yeye - thank you for your work and your dedication - you are so seen, respected and heard. 💐

I hope you enjoy this piece and I hope it is enlightening. Link in bio + my story.☺️

I can never find the words for these posts. They take me such a long time to write, or rather to edit, because I have so much to say but when I start, I find it hard to stop. But time of is of the essence tonight as the Madleen is nearing Gaza with all the emergency aid on board that they can carry- baby formula, food and water, medical supplies, including crutches for amputee victims. They need our help, our support and our protection to ensure their safe arrival into Gaza to break the siege and reach the Palestinian people.

So in addition to the current action you are taking, please:
