read caption… If you’ve been doing the same exercises for months and wondering why you’re not seeing the same progress anymore, the answer isn’t always to completely change your routine. Your body adapts. Progress comes from giving it a reason to keep adapting. That’s where progressive overload comes in. Instead of constantly chasing new exercises, focus on gradually making your current training more challenging over time. You can do that by: → Increasing the weight → Getting more reps with the same weight → Improving your form and range of motion → Increasing sets or training volume → Improving control and tempo → Getting stronger at the same exercise For example: if you can squat 100 lbs for 8 reps with good form, eventually working toward 100 lbs for 10 reps — and then 105 lbs for 8 reps — is progression. You don’t need to confuse your muscles with a new workout every week. You need consistency + enough stimulus + progressive overload. Stop constantly looking for the “perfect” workout. Master the basics. Track your lifts. Get stronger. Give your body a reason to change. 🏋🏽‍♀️ #progressiveoverload #masterthebasics #liftheavyshit #gymmotıvatıon #miami
