EXCITING NEWS FOR THE WATCH ME LOVE MYSELF WORKSHOP 🗞️💗✨

I was introduced to @meganjalexander1 by Ms. @iam_kathleen_mayes back in June! She is someone who so graciously helped me navigate through the media frenzy I experienced. Megan works for Inside Edition so she was a wealth of knowledge in this area! On a deeper level, Megan is someone who I could always count to check on me, share her love, and be there to support me. Simply put- Megan is NAMily and she’s someone I am so proud to have in my corner.

She is also the Author of 3 best-selling books that she is so graciously adding to our giveaway! How amazing!!!🥳🥹

This week’s word was RESILIENT. 💪🏻 This is a word that’s meant a lot to me over the last few months. I showed resiliency by coming back to pageantry after 7 years and winning my dream title. I showed even more resiliency with everything I had to go through after that happened.

I am so much more than a viral moment. I am so much more than a clickbait story.

I am RESILIENT. I took one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through and turned it into something beautiful. (Hello @watchmeorg 💅🏻) I continued to share positivity and kindness when so many people showed me anything but that.

Like Taylor Swift said- “You cannot let it crush you; you have to let it fuel you.” and I like to think I’ve done just that ✨

With NAM State Pageant Season coming to a close I want my content this week to have somewhat of a focus of that. Through the hundreds and thousands of girls that competed this year only so many could walk away with a State Title. I know first hand how disappointing it can be so that’s why this weeks word is RESILIENCE 💪🏻👑✨

This word means a lot to me- not only in pageantry but in life. There was many times I had no choice but to be resilient. I think about when my dad passed unexpectedly or when I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I think about challenges I faced this year- especially after my crowning. One thing I’ve learned about resiliency is it’s not just something you do but a choice you have to actively make.

These photos show results from staying resilient- no matter how long that journey may take. From not placing to exceeding all my goals and expectations. From dreaming of my crowning moment 7 years ago to actually getting it!

Here is how we can practice resiliency in our every day lives:
☆ See challenges as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks
☆ Break down your big goals into smaller, more manageable steps in your journey
☆ Reflect on your past challenges and think of how you overcame them. Use this to build confidence for your next goal!
☆ Stay committed to your why! Keeping this close will ensure you don’t lose focus of your main goal
☆ If you’re anything like me… find humor in your challenges 🤪 Sometimes you gotta laugh so you don’t cry- there’s nothing wrong with that!

After 3 long, challenging years, with an immense amount of determination, perseverance, resilience, faith, and self love, I am so blessed to say I am your new NATIONAL AMERICAN MISS WISCONSIN JUNIOR TEEN 2024!!! This moment still feels so surreal and words can’t describe how ecstatic and grateful I am. This blessing has made me open my eyes and realize that I finally am what 13 year old and even 7 year old me dreamed of becoming. 💚

First, I would love to say a huge thank you to my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. When I was at my lowest earlier this year, He gave me a vision and reminded me that He has a plan to open big doors in my life. Without Him, I wouldn’t have been able to grace the stage this past weekend.

To my wonderful family, especially my sister @willowiswillow, WE CRASPED THAT CROWN!! Thank you for being the blueprint and inspiring me to enter pageants!! All the midnight pep talks you gave me for the past 3 years have paid off, and your intense screaming will always be a highlight of my crowning (😭).

To the wonderful @cadyruthstoever from @amandamorenoconsulting, thank you for helping me add some spice to my pageant abilities and for boosting my confidence and self esteem so I could feel like a queen, with a crown or without a crown. 👑

And finally to my fellow contestants, you guys absolutely KILLED it this weekend!! Everyone shined so brightly on stage and I had a blast meeting so many like-minded, high-achieving girls this weekend. Keep on accomplishing great things and never dull your sparkle! 💖

Along with winning the title, I also won actress for the THIRD TIME! Three times are truly the charm. 🎬

Happy World Listening Day! 🌎💗🫧

I think it is so important to listen to others. Listen to their views, opinions, thoughts, and most importantly their stories. There is so much division these days and I think the first step towards uniting one another is LISTENING.

I think as women we can also empower one another by listening to each other’s stories then lifting them up. Help other women share their stories- you never know who needs to hear it. That is what inspired me to start the Watch Her Series through @watchmeorg. I post interviews about meaningful topics with girls across the country. Going into pageant weekend one of my goals as a state queen was to share the story of every single one of my Miss Sister Queens. I’m so excited to be acting on that as I have already been able to post interviews with 5 of them and there are SO many more to come.

I encourage you today to listen. Listen to yourself. Listen to your favorite song. Listen to peacefulness. Listen to nature. And most importantly… listen to each other.

Words that we’ve been waiting and praying to type for quite literally 12 months! When we started working together in May of last year, it was immediately evident there was something special about Sara... When you meet her, you just get it. She IS a queen in every way! Determined, empathetic & servant hearted, her year is dedicated to empowering her state, seniors with The Buddy System, and every girl who needs a friend or role model. She is a trailblazer in inclusivity, and we could not be more ecstatic for this gorgeous legend!

Sara, thank you for trusting us and allowing us into your life! You never met a challenge you weren’t willing to master, leaving us constantly blown away by your character and work ethic.
