This is my artwork for the The House of Smalls winter fundraiser. A very important gallery supporting women artists. Focus is on high quality curated art and also the many gender based issues faced by women. Such as health inequality, domestic abuse and violence against women. Please support the continued success of an essential gallery space by contributing art works and/ or purchasing a one of 10 x 10 cm original. My intention is to produce more hands with messages so look out for a set layer on.

I’m so excited for my solo show to open next weekend. Going back through the work to prep it for sending to Edinburgh was hugely emotional for me. It’s like a time capsule. Of things happening collectively in the world as well as my own health journey. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you do get a chance to go and see it in person. Feel free to connect with me and let me know what you think and how each of those events left you feeling. I wonder which painting will be your favourite? Maybe one will even end up on your wall - a little piece of living history, a little reminder that we are not alone 🫂

Absolutely over the moon to have been shortlisted for the British Photography Awards (Architecture Category) with one of my random motorway photos.

One of my favourite buildings, this is the Pennine Tower, an iconic Grade II listed architectural landmark at Lancaster (Forton) Services on the M6 in Lancashire. Originally opened as a luxury 120-seat restaurant and rooftop sun deck/observation platform in 1965, it was closed in 1989 due to changing safety and fire regulations, and remains unused.

This image was taken from the passenger seat whilst travelling the M6 southbound at 79mph.

Voting is now open for the People’s Choice Award - I know my style of photography isn’t to everyone’s taste (😁), and there are so many amazing finalists, but if you’d like to vote for me I’d be ever so grateful and the 🔗 is in my bio.
