POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

✨All in my feels today so HERE YOU GO!✨

1st of all… This is a “gawd I am butt-crazy-in-love with my partner” @ejmarti appreciation post. Just LOOK at him. Isn’t he seriously cutest?! UGH! 😍 I sincerely hope that everyone finds “their Eric” at some point in life. Tis a gift. 🎁💕

2ndly… This is a “gawd I love ‘LOVE’ & celebrating it any freaking chance I get” post. We recently had the great fortune of getting all dressed up & celebrating the union of our very dear friends. (Annie & Jeff we love ya’ll so damn much!) The whole evening hit me hard in all the right places. Vows of undying love, friendship, & partnership. (And of course thinking of those similar vows my hunny & I spoke to each other 16 freaking years ago.) The magic of great pals gathered together to eat, drink, & be merry under the sweet umbrella of the newlyweds. A music & dance floor situation for the ages. Just the best!🤌💘

And 3rdly… This is a “serendipity” post. Because on the day of said wedding this photo-memory popped up on Ye Olde Socials of Eric and I attending our first wedding together (gulp) 18 YEAR AGO! We were babies.😆 We were two idiots newly in love.👫 We were dreaming & scheming of doing things that we would eventually go on to do together.✨ We were cute as hell.💅 Aaaaaaah the feelings!

Aaand that’s it. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk™️ that nobody asked for. 😘

Twas an honor to perform at @amsterdambar651 last night for the Trans & Queer Folks For Keith rally last night. (( @agkellison @ellisoncampaign )) Organized by the one and only @leighformn (my one true queen & beacon of light, hope, equality, & justice in Mn government & politics). Coming outta live-show-hibernation to Rock-4-a-Cause was a gd pleasure. Love to all ya’ll! And a couple-a friendly reminders…

🩷 Art is political. Always has been.
🩵 This concept of “voting like your life depends on it” is real right now. Whether you wanna admit it or not.
💜 Keith Ellison has a track record of going up against the big money guys & anti human rights guys & seedy corruption guys & truly puts The People (that’s You & Me) first. I voted for him & hope that you do, too.
💚 You can vote early & in person in the state of MN! Find your polling place here: https://pollfinder.sos.mn.gov
🧡 It is truly sexy to participate in how the world around you operates & exercising your right to vote is not only hot but also your civic duty as an American. Don’t let these last couple-a centuries of “fighting for our rights” go to waste by sitting it out.
💛 Both parties are NOT the same.
❤️ Vote with your quality of life & livelihood & friends & neighbors & strangers & kiddos & planet & every human’s right to life, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness in mind.

I would like to present to the class:
💁🏼‍♀️ a perfect Duluth day • autumn edition

I was worried I was gonna miss peak leaf season. Happy to report that even under gloomy skies… she gorgeous. 🍁🌊✨ If you need a little break from the mayhem, may I suggest a little trip-ski up to D-town.🤌

Kinda chic to play gigs with people who inspire the sh¡t outta you. ✨✨✨

🙏 Big huge thanks to @jimwalshmpls for organizing an excellent Hoot(enanny) & to the fine audience at MinnPostFest for listening, hanging, & singing along. 🦉 One of my favorite piece of audience commentaries to date came from a super rad lady after this set “… pretty cool how you got a church sanctuary full of Boomers to sing ‘Fu¢k ¡¢E’ along with you.” (Indeed!😆😎🖕🧊)

Keep on Hootin’ & Lovin’ & Resistin’ friends ~💘J

A little collection of The Good Stuff™️ as of late. For morale. 😘🫶

1) Will I ever master the mirror selfie?
2) Mad autumnal vibes.
3) Somebody put a cut out of me in their front lawn, oh how nice!
4) The SJM Tandem Read is still going strong. (Chaol can wiggle his toes now & he and Yrene just had “a moment.” EEEEEKS!🤗)
5) My hunny reading Romantasy with me will 4ever be my favorite.❤️‍🔥
6) We both Burned through Burn (of the Everflame). I cried so many times.
7) One of my favorite things about Lesson Days™️ is finishing up & being greeted with this. Made with love. And usually wine.
8-10) Speaking of lessons…
11) The most perfectly placed leaf in town.
12-13) The cluster of trees on the little Powderhorn Island always reminds me of Wilco’s “Cousin” album art.
14) Viva Powderhorn!
15) Powderhorn Park, foggy fall nighttime edition.

COMMENT if you wanna share your Good Stuff™️ & keep the morale boost going. 💁🏼‍♀️🤘

This is the best pasta dish I have ever had in my entire life. ✨🍝✨ You can find it at @gioiaresto in Madrid— which is also one of the best restaurants on planet earth, in my humble opinion. The “40-egg Tallarines” with fresh shaved black truffle & a boat load of parmigiana on top. 🤌 There simply are no words! 🤌 For real, ya’ll. I am obsessed. I have now been to Madrid 3 times. And I have had the absolute food-nerd-pleasure of having this pasta dish 3 times. 🤓 Cheers to Chef Davide Bonato for creating the most perfect, delicious, addictive, morsel. 🥂 I’m already day dreaming of my next visit to Gioia! 🤞🤤

FOOD FRIENDS: If you ever happen to make it over there, I double dare ya to tell them your old pal Jillian from Minnesota sent ya! 😆🤘
