Big, fruity and seriously juicy. Sloe gin brings the dark, tart plum, apricot brandy rounds it with soft stone-fruit sweetness, and fresh lime keeps the whole thing sharp and bright.

Festive menu’s in. £55 a head.

Snacks, starters, a quarter rotisserie chicken with all the trimmings, and bread and butter pudding with Seville orange marmalade and Christmas cake ice cream to see you off.

Set menu for groups of 6+, or available on request when you book.

We’re only closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year. Every other day, we’re here.

I will honestly say, The Keelson is simple food done SO well. I don’t know how it’s possible to make chicken taste this good honestly!!!!

We started with a dirty margarita, which I loved and has perhaps swayed me to try dirty martinis more often! Paired with green tomato frickles and burger sauce… has a better combination ever existed?!

We went for a whole chicken between three and did have a fair bit leftover because it is a lot of food!! All the sides were so good, especially the roast potatoes, but the cauliflower cheese and salad also paired so well!

It’s hard to pick a favourite sauce between the peppercorn, chicken gravy and chimichurri… they were all SO yummy!

The service was an absolute standout too! Believe me, you’re in for the most fun evening if Ben is your waiter!!

Our daily bread.

Baked fresh every morning. Flaky salt, cracked black pepper, blistered on top, soft underneath. Tear it, share it, mop up whatever’s left on the plate.

Badger Flame beetroot, poaching low and slow in a little oil and red wine vinegar.

Sweet, mellow, barely earthy. The vinegar sharpens it up, the oil keeps it soft.

The bartender’s go-to sour. The Paper Plane.

Created by the legend and all-round good guy Sam Ross @samueljoelross. We admired his work from afar while learning the ropes, had him over for a shift at @nauticusbar, and his drinks are still the ones we reach for when someone asks for something off menu.

Bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino and fresh lemon, in equal parts. Bitter orange from the Aperol, honeyed, herbal warmth from the Nonino, bourbon for backbone, and lemon to keep it bright.
