🔥 PADEL T WARM-UP DRILLS 🎾

Start your session right with these 5 simple drills designed to improve your control, consistency, movement and confidence around the glass.

1️⃣ Forehand & Backhand Against the Glass
Focus on clean contact, control and consistency while getting comfortable using the glass.

2️⃣ Forehand → Backhand Movement
Alternate between forehand and backhand while moving your feet and body quickly into position. Stay light on your feet and get set before each shot.

3️⃣ Forehand & Backhand Volleys on the Glass
Work on your volleys using the glass, focusing on soft hands, control and keeping the ball in play.

4️⃣ Into the Corner
Play your forehand into the corner, then your backhand into the second and third panes of glass. This helps you understand how the ball comes off different angles and improves your positioning.

5️⃣ Side to Side
Play a forehand, then move your feet quickly across the court to use your backhand. Use the glass and focus on covering the width of the court efficiently.

🎾 The goal: Get your feet moving, find your timing and build consistency before you start playing points.

Save this one and give the drills a go next time you’re on court! 🔥

✨25✨

It’s creeped up on me so fast. If you told me a year ago that 24 would bring all of this, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. It was a year of pushing boundaries, celebrating big wins, showing up consistently even when it got tough, and building a life I’m genuinely proud of.

24, over and out👏

💫August💫

I am so sad to say goodbye to August, what a month. So many highlights.

• Reset by the coast in Abersoch (full coastal grandmother mode unlocked )

• Ran the hardest 10k of my life, smashed my PB, and did it side-by-side with a forever friend.

• Volunteered and week by week got to watch hundreds of future little runners cross finish lines 🥹

• Got well and truly taken in a chokehold by my writing, endless coffee shop hours manifesting the dream life.

• Hiked to what felt like the top of the world and put everything into perspective.

• Finally stopped letting the gym scare me and accepted that doing it clumsily is still doing it.

• Parkrun tourism: trails, roads, and my very first beach parkrun!

• Tried new things, crossed off bucket list goals, and went solo to puppy yoga only to leave with two new friends

• Ate so much ridiculously good food.

so many core memories. August, 10/10 💫

🎾 5 Padel Tips from Coach Tom at The Padel Den 🎾

Want to improve your game? Start with these simple but effective tips:

1️⃣ Don’t hit the ball too hard – Power isn’t everything. Placement and control win more points.

2️⃣ Stay consistent – Keep the ball in play and force your opponents to make the mistake.

3️⃣ Don’t be afraid of the glass – Let the glass work for you. Trust the bounce and stay relaxed.

4️⃣ Focus on your footwork – Keep your feet moving, stay balanced, and get into the best position before every shot.

5️⃣ Communicate with your partner – Talk throughout the point. Good communication leads to better decisions and stronger teamwork.

Which tip has helped your game the most? Let us know in the comments! 👇🎾
