🤝 COMMUNITY. THAT’S WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT. 🎾

From the very beginning, we’ve said we wanted to build something special — introducing the fantastic sport of padel to anyone and everyone in Sandbach.

We’ve welcomed run clubs, cricket and football teams, men’s groups and female padel groups through our gates, all to experience just how brilliant this sport is.

Our weekly socials and Americanos have helped bring people together, with sessions for all different levels. From complete beginners picking up a racket for the first time to elite players competing in tournaments, there’s a place for everyone at The Padel Den.

Our sponsors have been huge for us to give us more stability & add in new aspects to our courts to keep improving @hamptontaylor_training @amplomatt @stephensonbrowneltd @cupracrewe @barberelle_sandbach @acpanellingltd

We’ve seen friendships grow, people entering tournaments together and players representing our community on court. We’ve introduced padel to children and over-60s, showing that this is a sport that really can be enjoyed by all ages.

We’ve also introduced coaching sessions with Coach Tom, helping players of every level develop their skills, build confidence and take their game to the next level. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or looking to improve your competitive game, we want to help you get there.

And it’s not just about what happens on court. We’ve made new friends along the way, including fellow padel owners who share the same vision. We’re not competing against each other — we’re all in this together to grow the sport we love. 🤝

Our aim has always been to give Sandbach the opportunity to experience padel, meet new people and make friendships along the way. From our monthly intro sessions to our weekly socials, tournaments and coaching, we want everyone to feel welcome, regardless of their age or experience.

These highlights are just a small snapshot of the amazing people who come through our gates every single week.

We started with a vision, built a community from the ground up, and we’re only just getting started. ❤️ taken in Elworth Cricket Club by @thepadeldenhq

POV: You’re waiting for your 4th player to reply… 🎾👀

Because the court is booked, the rackets are ready, but we’re still waiting on that one mate who said, “I’ll let you know.” 🤣

🔥 PADEL T WARM-UP DRILLS 🎾

Start your session right with these 5 simple drills designed to improve your control, consistency, movement and confidence around the glass.

1️⃣ Forehand & Backhand Against the Glass
Focus on clean contact, control and consistency while getting comfortable using the glass.

2️⃣ Forehand → Backhand Movement
Alternate between forehand and backhand while moving your feet and body quickly into position. Stay light on your feet and get set before each shot.

3️⃣ Forehand & Backhand Volleys on the Glass
Work on your volleys using the glass, focusing on soft hands, control and keeping the ball in play.

4️⃣ Into the Corner
Play your forehand into the corner, then your backhand into the second and third panes of glass. This helps you understand how the ball comes off different angles and improves your positioning.

5️⃣ Side to Side
Play a forehand, then move your feet quickly across the court to use your backhand. Use the glass and focus on covering the width of the court efficiently.

🎾 The goal: Get your feet moving, find your timing and build consistency before you start playing points.

Save this one and give the drills a go next time you’re on court! 🔥 taken in Elworth Cricket Club by @thepadeldenhq
