3 DAYS TO GO! The Countdown is still On!

Nigeria, get ready! In just 3 days, we make history at the First National Volunteer Conference the biggest gathering of volunteers, changemakers, and development leaders in the country.
Hosted by the Ondo State Government & Co-hosted by UN Volunteers Nigeria under the global International Volunteer Year 2026 (IVY 26) agenda, this is more than an event - it is the beginning of a movement.

This is where policy meets passion. Where service gets celebrated. Where the future of volunteering in Nigeria is shaped.

Hi! I’m pleased to share that the session from the Future of Evaluation Dialogue #4 is now live on the UNFPA Independent Evaluation Office’s LinkedIn page.

This is a huge milestone in my professional journey that I do not take for granted. I appreciate the Cloneshouse leadership for the vote of confidence in my ability to represent the organization in this capacity and the organisers (UNFPA Independent Evaluation Office) for this thoughtful initiative.

As I mentioned in my last post, whether you are an emerging or practicing evaluator, you’ll find these conversations useful.

My hope is that this conversation will inspire the much-needed change in evaluation practice across the globe, particularly in Africa.

When God placed the idea of the 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥 & 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 in my heart, I knew it wasn't a money-making venture for me.

In fact, none of the initiatives I've birthed since my undergraduate days — Join Value, Total Woman Conference, Mending Bridges, or even Peggy's Signatures — has ever been solely about making money. The irony is that Peggy's Signatures was actually a business! 🤣🤣 But even then, I gave more than I received.

For me, it has always been about adding value to others and serving God's purpose. The assignment has simply been different in every season of my life.

After the book launch, the plan was to raise funds to donate copies of the handbook, free of charge, to young secondary school girls. I called it the 𝐒.𝐒.𝐁 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭. But one conversation with the amazing RKD and 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 was born.

Today, this has become one of the core projects of TCW Academy, a developmental platform I founded to help women and girls discover their identity, build with confidence, strengthen their emotional resilience, and make better choices that lead to a better future.

We are in the foundational phase, and the vision is deeply personal to me. I want to help mentor a generation of girls who will grow up to live better lives than I did at their age, and women who will build with confidence and a rooted sense of self-awareness, regardless of the season they find themselves in or what life may have dealt them.

This is more than a project for me. It is an opportunity to sow into the lives of the next generation, to give them tools I wish I had earlier, and to help them build from a place of identity, resilience, and purpose.

If this resonates with you in any way, I welcome your support, collaboration, and partnership as we bring this vision to life.

Today, we celebrate those who dedicate themselves to helping others learn, grow, and become more.

To every facilitator, mentor, and teacher who shares knowledge, asks the right questions, challenges us to think differently, and makes growth possible — thank you.

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom or the stage. It lives on in the people you have helped shape.

Happy World Teachers’ Day! ❤️

AND JUST LIKE THAT… THE JUST US GIRLS CONFERENCE ENDED IN PRAISE! 🥹🙌🏽❤️

And i am officially in my ELEVATE SEASON! 😂🔥

What a conference! What a weekend! What a testimony!

And then… ABUJA TRIBE WON THE OVERALL TRIBE OF THE YEAR!!! 🥹🏆❤️

Honestly, this one feels different because it is such a serendipity testimony.

We didn’t set out to win an award, we simply set out to love people, serve people, build community, follow God and make an impact.

In fact, it wasn’t until we sat down to intentionally list out everything we had done over the year that I realised… Wait o! WE ACTUALLY DID A LOT! 😂😂

And then came the awards. 🥹
🏆 Project of the Year
🏆 Overall Tribe of the Year

What an honour, a privilege, and a reminder that sometimes, the things you do simply because your heart is for people become the very things God uses to announce His faithfulness.

I am deeply grateful for the gift of my Mother, @pastormildred, and my Father, @kingsleypst , for the privilege to serve, to lead and to be a vessel of impact within the Abuja Tribe and beyond.

Thank you, Just Us Girls Global, for creating a platform where women can grow, serve, connect and become all God has called them to be. ❤️

And to my amazing Assistant City Reps and every member of our Tribe Circles…

THIS IS YOUR WIN TOO! 🥹❤️

Thank you for showing up, serving, carrying the vision and believing that we could build something beautiful together.

They say the reward for good work is more work… 😂

So, Abuja Tribe… WE MOVE!

We will keep showing up until the assignment is complete and victory is won.

This is ELEVATION. 🔥

Now, let’s get back to work… and make Jesus proud.

There are seasons when life feels so dark that you begin to wonder if the darkness will ever end.

But there is something powerful about knowing where your Light comes from.

John reminds us:
“What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out.” — John 1:3 MSG
Read that again.

The darkness couldn’t put it out.
Not your past.
Not your pain.
Not rejection.
Not disappointment.
Not failure.
Not the things that happened to you.
Not even the seasons when you couldn't see your way forward...
The Light was still there.

Sometimes, we spend so much time fighting the darkness that we forget to look for the Light.

But God is simply asking you to let Him shine..
Into the wound, the confusion, the fear, the shame, and into the places you've learnt to hide.

Because when His Light comes, darkness doesn't get to negotiate.

The Life-Light blazes out of the darkness.
And the darkness cannot put it out. ✨

This is the heart of UNFETTERED 2026.
LET THERE BE LIGHT
📖 Genesis 1:1–5
31 October 2026 | 10AM Prompt | Abuja

Come expecting the Light of God to shine into every place where darkness has lingered.

You are not your darkness.
You were created for Light.
