Summer dump 😌

So thankful for my time at @playhouseonpark with @willyshakes22 and @zollerdarlene at the helm of The Wild Party! To my cast and crew, thank you all for your kindness, support, and generosity throughout this process. Black was a dream role and I hope to revisit him in the future but I am so grateful that I got to tell this story with a one of a kind group of storytellers and friends. How lucky were we to do such a special show.

Stink stank stink sister 4 life! ❤️

Our pre-show ritual remains one of the most precious parts of this contract.

✨Happy 7️⃣th Birthday, Oz!✨
This year, you’re down to 12 teeth (only canines, and a handful of incisors), you’ve become more obsessed than ever with sleeping in board game box lids, and still prefer hair ties over any other toys. So grateful for your company, cuddles, biscuits, and that you always warn me before you throw up a hairball. 😻

Spirits struggling with death, robots grappling with life, and humans just being awkward—these are all recurring themes in the heartfelt and whimsical shows of musical-writer Spencer Robelen. 🎶 Featuring numbers from the song cycle ANDROIDS (which sold out the Duplex Cabaret in 2019), duets from the two-person historical epic OVERTURES (which sold out the Producers Club Theaters in 2023), and stand-alone songs from various projects, this intimate cabaret is a celebration of Spencer’s work from the past decade, as well as an homage to all of our unfinished business. 🎟 Get your tickets now!

✨5 years✨ In the beautiful words of our officiant, Mr. Kent Gash, “We marry as a community…” and I am constantly so proud of and humbled by the amazing, silly, brilliant, strong, and loving people in our community (as it was five years ago and continues to evolve and grow today).

I’m so proud to call @thetrevorbunce my best friend and spouse, and grateful that he “yes-ands” me daily.

Bet you all didn’t believe that there really was a plank chain across the dance floor at our wedding… Never underestimate a room full of Theater Kids 👀🤓💙

Meet the cast! 🎭 The fantastic Trevor Bunce will be singing in my concert at @thegreenroom42 next month. Check out his bio below! 🤩

Trevor is honored to once again be singing Spencer's music. You can hear him on several of Spencer's recorded works, namely Overtures, Eggnog, Pigeon Pizza Party, and Nearer to Thee. Most recently, Trevor played Burrs in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford. Find him @thetrevorbunce and at www.thetrevorbunce.com

It’s been one week since we closed “The Wild Party” at @playhouseonpark and I miss it more than I can put into words! Kate, you crazy b*tch, I freakin love ya. This role was a beast and it taught me so much about myself as an artist. I feel strong, I feel proud. I feel ready to take on whatever may be next. Thank you @willyshakes22 @zollerdarlene and @maestrobritt for trusting me to step into @idinamenzel ‘s shoes and make the role my own! This cast, oh how I will miss seeing you beautiful people every day. Truly the best group of humans. I have never laughed harder and smiled wider than I have with all of you. We left our hearts and souls out on that stage every damn time and we did it together. So much love to you all. So much love to this show. theatremaddi out🫡🤍💃🏻
