The pin press, or pin bench press is a drill that can be used for a various purposes. One of the purposes we have athletes perform the pin press is to help them feel their chest ignite on the movement. We are trying to get the arms and triceps to stop taking over in order to allow the chest to do the work and promote growth.

For movements and drills specific for you, message us and lets get you scheduled for a FREE consultation and personal training session with Calvin (@bioneerx ) or one of our coaches at Iron Knight Gym.

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! We are just 2 MONTHS OUT from MEET DAY!!

A LOCAL MEET. A NATIONAL-LEVEL FEEL. 🔥

That’s the standard we’re bringing back to the Treasure Coast on December 12.

We’re closing out 2026 the only way we know how — with loaded barbells, big lifts, and an atmosphere worthy of the athletes stepping onto the platform. The lights. The platform. The competition. The atmosphere: Every detail matters when athletes have spent months preparing for those six attempts - And that’s exactly why we’re putting everything we have into making the 2026 Treasure Coast Holiday Classic an experience worth training for.

From first-time lifters to seasoned competitors, we’re setting the stage for one of the biggest days of the year in Florida weightlifting. The 2026 Treasure Coast Holiday Classic is bringing the energy of a national-level competition right here to South Florida.

Sun’s out 😎, guns out 💪🏻 Need my body to cooperate with us more than it is right now, but this is progress I’ll take. Liking how the wings are starting to grow. I’m not usually one to post something like this that points out body composition, but proud of the effort & work we’ve been putting in . 💪🏻

Today in our elite functional fitness class at @ironknight_gym we continued our October @bulletpulley Friday” series sponsored by Bullet Pulley.

Today was BACK DAY in our classes. Their superset using our 10-piece bullet pulley system was:

Single-Arm Standing Cable Row 3 x 10
—superset with—
Single-Arm Lat Pulldown (Standing, Half Kneeling, or Kneeling) 3 x 10

That led them into their metabolic conditioning of Deadlifts and Handstand Push-Ups to complete a back and shoulder day in class.

As always we want to continue to thank Bullet Pulley for partnering with us here at Iron Knight Gym and sponsoring our October Challenge and Friday Strength Training Segments throughout the month.

If YOU want $10 off your 10-Piece Bullet Pulley system, use code “Rebeca10” or “Alexis10”.

And stay tuned for more strength segments and intros on how to use our new Anchor Pads too.
