Take more time to experience the extraordinary, with a complimentary night on us.

At Beckons, we know the best stays leave you wishing for just one more day. Time for one more look at Huka Falls or a last refreshing swim in the Mossman River. One more ride across the Patagonian steppe or a walk across the Atacama salt flats. One more clifftop walk on Kangaroo Island's wild coast or a slow sunset over the Barossa vines.

In 2027, stay a little longer with a complimentary night at our best available rates of the season, with more time to spot sea lions at Seal Bay, explore the Daintree Rainforest, hike beneath Patagonia’s mighty peaks or head out in search of the elusive puma.

Learn more at the link in our bio.

You sail past the woodland first. Then the icebergs start drifting by. Then the wall. Grey Glacier. 19 kilometers of ancient blue ice in Torres del Paine 🧊🏔️ Patagonia’s season is just opening. Spring here means long days, wild weather and hardly anyone else around. @tierrahotels

The first time we drove up to Amangiri, I understood what people mean by speechless.

The road keeps winding through the desert, the rock turns redder, and then the hotel appears, as if it had been carved from the cliffs. I’ve tried to describe that feeling ever since. Awe, maybe? Anticipation? A perfect mix of both, probably. It felt like leaving one world and arriving in another — like the real world was very, very far away.

And it didn’t fade. Every morning, it hit me all over again.

That’s what these seven hotels have in common. You don’t stay at them on the way to somewhere else. They are the somewhere else. A farm in the Alentejo with its own vineyards and standing stones older than Stonehenge. Glass suites above the Kruger. Canvas tents you reach by floatplane. An inn on stilts at the edge of the North Atlantic.

Some trips start with a country. The ones people remember for the rest of their lives often start with a place like this.

Which one would you build a trip around? Tell me below. Or send me a message, and let’s go find that feeling.

There is a particular kind of magic to the end of the year and the summertime festive season in the Southern Hemisphere. The light lengthens, the pace eases and tables everywhere are set a little longer for the people who matter most. At Beckons, our collection is set in some of the world's most remote and remarkable places, where the festive season is all about coming together. Every detail is taken care of, so there is nothing for you to do but be present and enjoy the occasion.

As December rolls into the early days of a new year, each of our lodges marks the season in its own way. Across different landscapes and different traditions, there's one shared spirit: the simple pleasure of being together.

For many of our friends, the extended summer festive season has become a yearly rhythm, a tradition of its own. We're already looking ahead to 2027; it's not too early to reserve your festive season stay now.

Here's to the adventures ahead,
The Beckons team

Some hotels reward the journey it takes to reach them - a lava field in Iceland, a desert canyon in Utah, the edge of the Amalfi Coast. These eleven addresses are the kind of stays that become the reference point for every trip that follows.

The Retreat at Blue Lagoon - Suites set within an ancient lava field, with direct access to a private geothermal lagoon.

Aman Kyoto - A secluded forest sanctuary in northern Kyoto, where moss gardens and stillness define every hour.

Cliveden House - A grand English estate above the Thames, steeped in centuries of history and manicured grounds.

Cavo Tagoo Santorini - Whitewashed cliffside suites in Imerovigli, framing the caldera and the slow fall of the Aegean sunset.

Kisawa Sanctuary - A barefoot island retreat in Mozambique, shaped by sustainability, design, and Indian Ocean light.

Amangiri - Concrete and sandstone folded into the Utah desert, in perfect dialogue with the canyon landscape.

Kivotos Santorini - An all-black architectural statement on the caldera rim, set against the island’s whitewashed tradition.

Terra Patagonia - A remote lodge facing the peaks of Torres del Paine, built for stillness and wild horizons.

Reschio - An Umbrian estate of restored stone, where Italian craftsmanship and nature set the pace.

Four Seasons Serengeti - A safari lodge overlooking the savannah, where wildlife moves past at sunrise and dusk.

Borgo Santandrea - Terraced gardens above the Amalfi Coast, with the Mediterranean unfolding far below.

Some places you visit. Others stay with you forever.
