Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

I’m greatful for my fiancé, for my clients, for the team at @hammerfitness.online, @ladythefup & @hammerfitness , for @amerthehammer, for the women in my family, and for a body that let me get back on stage this year.

And for my dad, who I know is still watching.

What are you thankful for this year?

For the last 100 days, I’ve started every morning by writing down what I’m grateful for in my journal. Here’s what I’ve learned.

1. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.
Don’t overthink it. Just write down whatever comes to mind. There’s no perfect answer.

2. The smallest things are often the most meaningful.
A good night’s sleep, a hot meal, a conversation with a friend, or a stranger smiling at you. There’s so much we overlook.

3. Yesterday is a great place to look for inspiration.
Reflect on the previous day. You’ll often realize there were moments worth appreciating that you didn’t even notice at the time.

4. Repetition is completely fine.
When you’re starting out, it’s OK to write down the same things every day. Build the habit first. Your awareness and your list will expand over time.

5. Gratitude changes how you start your day.
Instead of waking up thinking about everything you need to do or what’s going wrong, you start your morning focusing on what’s already going right.

6. Gratitude gets you out of your own head.
It’s easy to get caught up in your ego, problems, and what you want. Gratitude shifts your attention toward the amazing people and things around you.

7. You can be grateful and still want more.
Being grateful for what you have doesn’t mean you stop chasing your goals. You can appreciate where you are while working toward where you want to be.

8. The more you practice gratitude, the more you notice.
Things you used to take for granted become things you genuinely appreciate. You start looking for the good without even trying.

9. Gratitude is especially important on difficult days.
It’s easy to be thankful when life is going well. Finding something to appreciate when things aren’t going your way is where the real growth happens.

10. Happiness isn’t always about having more.
Sometimes it’s about learning to appreciate what you already have. So much of what we take for granted today is something we once hoped and prayed for.

100 days later, this simple habit has completely changed the way I look at my life. And it only takes a few minutes every morning.

Happy Thanksgiving, the slides are just a few things I’m grateful for today. šŸ™
