LX570 on 40’s in Montana
@nst_spec

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

You’ve been lied to by your very own eyes. Every time you watched the soccer mom drop her kids off at practice or the sweet grandma drive one of these to church, your eyes made you believe this is just a luxury SUV for wealthy people who care more about comfort than adventure.

Neither you, nor they, have any idea what’s lurking beneath that Lexus badge.

What it actually is - is a fully capable, bulletproof, million-mile, trail-eating 200 series Land Cruiser that got dressed up for dinner and never stopped being dangerous underneath.

Jeep has a badge for it. Bronco has a fan club for it. The LX570 has receipts.

Swipe through. Then go find one. You can thank us later.

40 inch tires on a 200 Series Land Cruiser (technically a Lexus LX570)?!
You read that right. We had the chance to check out @tiny_the_200's unique build during The Big Thing at @xoverlandranch and there's some wild details to appreciate, like the custom body mounts and snorkel. The owner built it up to keep a low center of gravity while having massive ground clearance. He's conquered Montana's toughest 4x4 trails in it with his family and he has many more routes to check off his list.

“Maturing in the off-road game“ comment reaction:
What do you think of these comments? • How do you know when to stop a build?
• Do you adhere to a budget when you’re building a rig?
• Is it more fun driving a 20 year old rig you don’t care about than something newer?

Part 2 of the series drops Thursday. There’s gonna be a few statements/comments you won’t want to miss.
Stay tuned!

Driving a Lexus off-roader definitely gives off “main character energy”.
