LNER A1 60163 Tornado was officially completed in 2008 and was the UK's first new build mainline steam locomotive.

Here she visited the @eastlancsrly for this year's Legends of Steam gala and I was lucky enough to get rostered cleaner turn on her with @tomdcpeacock and @igreenan . A bit unusual stepping on the footplate of a locomotive younger than myself!

🎇 2025 🎇

As I reflect on the past year, I'm filled with gratitude for the people and experiences that made it so unique. From navigating unexpected challenges like school closures to meeting amazing people, it's been a fun year. Excited for the new challenges in 2026! Happy new year 🎉
