WELCOME TO OUR RTT2027 COMMUNITY AMBASSADORS

Real people. Real stories. One community.

We’re proud to introduce our Run the Tan Community Ambassadors for 2027, an inspiring group of runners, coaches, advocates, professionals and community leaders who share a belief in the power of movement, connection and community.

Each brings their own story, experience and perspective, but they are united by a common purpose: helping encourage more people to move, connect, talk openly about mental health and support others along the way.

Please join us in welcoming:
Alex Cleary
Mya Toohey
Matt Hopcraft
Jack Hanley
Justine Brogna
Frank Barrett
Tom Robertson
Britt Cutts
Ryan Buttner
Stephen Rando

We look forward to seeing the great work they do in the lead up to RTT2027, the stories they share, the people they inspire and the positive impact they help create across the Run the Tan community.

Think you’d make a great Run the Tan Community Ambassador? We’re always interested in hearing from people who are passionate about movement, community and mental health. Send us a DM to express your interest for 2027.

When we asked Tom what actually helps when someone’s struggling, and his answer was pretty simple: listen.

Don’t try to fix it. Don’t rush to fill the silence. Just give someone the space to talk.

No five-step framework required.

Save this one ❤️

There’s the side of running a business we talk about a lot. And then there’s the stuff that’s much harder to talk about.

Tom (courageously) opens up about experiencing psychosis, spending time in hospital and ultimately making the decision to close his business and put his health first.

He talks about all of it incredibly openly - the hard stuff, the practical stuff and, yes, the tax bill too.

A very good reminder that your health is always bigger than your business.

It ain’t weak to speak. ❤️

First client before they had an ABN. Two staff eight weeks later. 😅

@tomcrobertson on the very real version of business growth where the work comes first and you figure out the rest as you go.

Sometimes the business starts before you realise you’ve actually started a business.

Meet Tom Robertson 👋

@tomcrobertson went from accidentally starting an agency to hiring two staff in eight weeks (!!!!) and landing some very big (and cool) clients.

Then, life changed.

Tom speaks incredibly openly about his mental health experiences, being admitted to hospital, closing his business and choosing to put his health first.

We talk ambition, identity, fatherhood, starting again - and, somehow still, tax 😂

Honest, generous and very good company.

🎙️ New episode tomorrow morning!
