Today, we explored the art of impermanence with the kids by creating some beautiful transient art! 🌿✨ Using nothing but leaves, stones, flowers, and twigs we found on our walk, we built little masterpieces right on the forest floor. The best part? There are no rules—just creativity and a reminder that not everything has to last forever to be meaningful.

We love how this activity keeps the kids engaged with nature and sparks their imagination. Plus, it's a fun, hands-on way to teach them about how things in life are always changing. They were so excited to see their creations take shape and just as curious to see how the wind or rain might transform them later!

If you’re looking for a simple, screen-free activity, try it next time you're outdoors. It's the perfect way to slow down, appreciate the beauty around you, and create memories that will last long after the art fades. 🌸🍃

„Transience“
(n) The state or fact of lasting only for a short time.
The work »Transience« deals with the fragility of life, love, fading memories and beauty.
"Daniel uses 35mm negative and slide photographic film and manipulates the aging process through the use of only natural & organic resources such as heat, sunlight, moisture, lemons, soil, fungi and more. The entire creating process takes about 6-12 months."
"In this body of work, Daniel uses both vintage film taken by unknown people as well as photographs that he has shot himself. His acts of ‘destroying’ the original film are, in fact, giving each image new life full of different textures, colors and of course different stories. These images are a far cry from the originals, yet, are still part of a common thread."
The aging process is all natural & analog, nothing is done digitally nor are they retouched afterwards. #35mm #filmphotography #contemporaryart #artphotography #filmphotographic #onfilm #perfectimperfection #transience #unique #limitededition #analogphotography #abstract #filmisnotdead #nodigitalfx
