In the "Transience" series, Daniel Voelker deliberately surrenders 35mm analog film to time and entropy. He buries, soaks, infects, and chemically alters pristine negatives and slides with earth, water, fungi, and decay—provoking poetic wounds in the emulsion.
What emerges is haunting alchemy: ghostly figures dissolving into ethereal fogs, landscapes bleeding into abstraction, and human forms melting into veils of color and texture. Destruction becomes creation.
These aren’t ruined photographs—they’re poems written in silver halide. Fragile relics that whisper about impermanence, memory, and the luminous beauty found in brokenness.

Fine art photography. Analog film photography. No digital effects. Limited edition prints.
