Super proud of these folks. We have had trouble finding time to rehearse for our trombone ensemble concert on Sunday (3p at @fpcfranklin ) so we had an early morning rehearsal today at 6:30am 😪 The group all had great attitudes and we got so much good work done. No matter the hour, they know how to care of business. Super excited for Sunday!

Thanks to @hanabellows for her quick but impactful visit to @blairschoolvu last week! She gave an insightful masterclass during studio class and performed a wonderful and inventive recital of works for trombone and loop station or trombone with pre-recorded accompaniment. We were all inspired!! 🎶🪊

Spring 2026

I absolutely adored my 2nd semester at Vanderbilt! Got to play in my first orchestra concert, survived a winter storm, joined the production services team and had the pleasure of joining BYX! Got to be in a music video with Jubilee World and had the premiere of my first public performance of one of my compositions!

Very excited to announce that my senior recital will be on October 29th at 7:30 pm, in Turner Hall at the Blair School of Music. We will be playing new music that I have written for a 10 piece ensemble comprised of Vanderbilt students and alumni. This project has been a joy to bring together over the past year and I would love to see many of you there. Still more to come with this band!

We’re so excited to return to @fpcfranklin on Sunday, October 11 to perform our first Vanderbilt Trombone Ensemble concert of the year 🪊🖤💛 🪊

Our program will feature works by Taylor, Beethoven, Lloyd-Weber, Biedenbender, James David, and more! Prof. Jeremy Wilson will be a featured soloist on Balmages’ “Three Miniatures” 🎶

This will be the group’s third visit to First Presbyterian Church in as many years, and we’re grateful for the chance to bring our artistry and passion to the heart of Franklin and to connect with our Middle Tennessee neighbors through the beauty of music 😍

Admission is free and all are welcome.

End of year post:

I’m a little late but I couldn’t just not post after this junior year.

I am filled with an incredible amount of gratitude for every single person in this post. Every late night conversation, every meal, and every laugh was and is still worth everything to me. The amount of positivity, love, and joy that y’all brought into my life can’t be overstated enough. I look forward to more late night conversations, more chipotle runs, and more playing together. I leave this school year inspired, grateful, and ultimately optimistic about what the future holds for everyone.

It’s been an absolutely incredible roller coaster of a year and I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you who helped me along the way. You all mean so much to me and I look forward to the next time I get to see everyone.

So to the people pictured and those who I don’t yet have pictures with, I love y’all and I appreciate y’all.
