Some of you woke up today tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix.

Trying to carry a lot. Be strong. Lead well. Hold things together at home, at work, in your own head. You want to be a man who’s capable… someone who can step in, protect, handle what comes.

But if you’re honest, there are moments it feels like you’re forcing it. Like you’re running on fumes and hoping no one notices.

That’s real. And you’re not the only one.

The pull to be Dangerous But Good is there… but so is the weight of trying to become that on your own.

John 1:16 says we’ve received “grace upon grace.”

Not a one-time thing. Not something you earn when you finally get it right. It’s a constant supply from Him… not from you.

And that changes everything.

Because this life isn’t built on how disciplined you can be or how much pressure you can carry. Those things matter, but they won’t hold you up forever.

Jesus does.

Real strength looks different than we think. It’s not a man grinding himself down trying to prove he’s enough. It’s a man who knows he’s not… and finally stops pretending he is.

Anchored. Settled. Not because life is easy, but because he knows where his strength comes from.

The lion doesn’t walk around trying to prove what it is. It’s steady. It knows.

That’s what grace does in you. It steadies you. It takes some of that pressure off your chest. It reminds you that you don’t have to earn what’s already been given.

So if today feels heavy, don’t just push through it.

Come back to Him.

Let that grace meet you again, right where you are. Not cleaned up. Not put together. Just honest.

And then move forward from there.

Not in your own strength… but in His.

Flashback Friday 🔥

I’ve seen what it looks like to train together, trust each other, and step into hard things side by side.

But the words on this photo point to someone greater than any of us.

Christ is King.

Over our fear. Over our pride. Over the things we can control and the things we can’t. The strength we’ve been given is His to use, and the people He’s placed in our lives are ours to love and serve.

I’m grateful to share this post with some brothers who believe that too.

“Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” — Philippians 2:11
