🟫🟫🟫⬛️⬛️⬛️🟫 Grateful for my brown belt! I started Jiujitsu in August of 2016 after I was encouraged to by @bjbaldwin and @realroyce And so, I stumbled upon @thejiujitsuacademy having no idea of the quality of jiujitsu I had started to learn. After years of traveling the world and learning from incredible men and world class jiujitsu athletes, I can gladly say that my jiujitsu is accredited to Bruce Shepherd and the rest of my training partners at the Jiujitsu Academy of Evansville.

Grateful for the journey! We are in it for the long haul!

Romans 5:3-5 (ESV) “… we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

It’s suffering through perseverance that produces the quality of our interior lives. When we humble ourselves in training, it profits us spiritually. The mind cannot be humbled without first the body having learned humility. by @truexodus

You can’t see my face, but about 3 shots in I was having too much fun shooting my @henry_rifles H11 .44-40. Modeled after Henry’s 1860, this is one of the first commercially available rifles that allowed for multiple cartridges to be levered into and out of the chambered. While everyone else was shooting a single round and having to reload! They would say, “Load it on Sunday, and shoot it all week!”

My son, Knox wanted the @henry_rifles H16 Golden Boy Revolver. It’s just too bad that I enjoy shooting it as much as he!

This is Henry’s legendary rimfire heritage hand fitted into a classic double-action wheel gun. Chambered in .22 LR, it features a deeply blued steel frame, genuine American walnut grips, polished brass accents, and a 10-round cylinder with a quick-takedown system.

Ephesians 2:1-10 (NASB) “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
