Over the past two weeks, our New Castle County Police & Paramedic Summer Youth Program cadets immersed themselves in the world of public safety—and what an incredible journey it has been!

From becoming certified in CPR and Stop the Bleed to exploring the many specialized units within the New Castle County Division of Police, experiencing life at the Lieutenant Joseph L. Szczerba Police Academy, touring our 911 Communications Center, and participating in realistic, hands-on training, each day brought new challenges, new experiences, and new opportunities to grow.

But this program is about far more than police, fire, and EMS. It's about developing future leaders. Through teamwork challenges, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, public speaking, internet safety, health and wellness education, and countless opportunities to lead, serve, and support one another, these young men and women built confidence, resilience, integrity, discipline, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Think you have what it takes to be part of next year's New Castle County Police & Paramedic Summer Youth Program? Stay tuned to our page for future registration information—we can't wait to meet the next class of cadets!

Last week, we hosted @ud_ecu for a night of good food, with even better company. During their time at the House, they enjoyed food from Deer Park Tavern, completed narcan training with Face the Facts, and got to hang out with one of our newest paws dogs, Kepler!!
💡🔓✨
As always, thank you for another amazing night and we can't wait to welcome you back!
