Yesterday I joined Jackie at Landis Cabinetry in Driggs, Idaho to knock out three bars and a fluted island using @verometalna in the next two weeks.
She’s finished for 15 years and setup this particular space over the last 4. (Central Oregon here she comes, btw!). I could go on about how it’s just right. The shop, the energy, the people. All of it. Working with someone who mirrors your efficiency, ideals and motivation in an unspoken manner is already powerful. Feeling the joy of a group of professionals in their daily ritual of hacky sack, even more so. Last night I was overcome with emotion, feeling overwhelmed that somehow the stars aligned to bring me to this place of unparalleled beauty, in nature and community. I am thankful and will leave it at that.

@northwestmodern -I do still work in Oregon 😉

I was in Portland yesterday cutting and buffing the clear coat I applied to the sink on site a few weeks ago. Just admiring how this home came together.

The way the patina on the brass hearth mirrors the living room furniture made my day; It really is the little things.

@brittanyvenner_studio - I so admire your vision. The design world is truly lucky to have you. What a timeless work of art you have created for your client to call home.

Speaking of art, the diptych in the living room is by @brittanyvenner_art
You are a force! Whatever direction keeps you “feeling your results”, keep going.
